About Evolved Novelties

Evolved Novelties says it has designed adult products since 2006. Its first range launched in July 2008 at the AVN Novelty Expo in Los Angeles. A week later it reached the ETO Show in Birmingham, UK, packed in metal tins. Greg Alves led the company then, and he was still its president in 2022. It is based in Chatsworth, California.

The company now runs six brands and sells to more than 25,000 stores worldwide. Lucy D'Olimpio of Evolved puts it simply: “When we started, we were just Evolved.” That line comes from our interview with Evolved's Lucy D'Olimpio. Each Evolved brand covers a different audience and style.

Evolved Novelties

The core Evolved line is where the company started, and it is best known for rabbit vibrators. Styles include tapping, flicking, swirling and thrusting rabbits, such as Push The Button with its moving G-spot bud and the Rapid Rabbit. Playboy Pleasure

Evolved makes Playboy Pleasure under an exclusive deal with Playboy. The deal was announced in November 2022 and covers North America. Its packaging uses a magnetic front, so you can see the product before you buy. The range leans towards rabbits, tapping and G-spot vibrators, plus strokers, plugs, glass pieces and strap-ons. Gender X

Gender X launched in late 2021 with plain packaging and no gender labels or prescribed uses. Its own site says its products are made without assuming who is holding them. Charging and care

Most current Evolved products charge by USB, many with USB-C or a magnetic cable. Charge fully before first use, and recharge every few months if you store a vibrator for a long time. Replacement chargers are available from Evolved if you lose one.

Clean silicone products with warm water and mild soap or a sex toy cleaner, then dry them fully. Store each piece in a pouch, away from other silicone. Strokers need extra care, as their soft TPE sleeves trap moisture.
