About The Cowgirl
Alicia Sinclair had already launched b-Vibe and Le Wand when she turned to sex machines. The Cowgirl made its international debut at the eroFame trade show in Hannover in October 2017. It was a premium riding machine with a padded saddle-style seat, powerful vibration and a design meant to be displayed rather than hidden.
Australia played an early part in its story. The Cowgirl made its local debut at the Adultex trade show in 2018 and won Best New Product, its first industry award. Every machine came with a global adaptor for safe use around the world. It was also built to work with Kiiroo's FeelMe technology, so a partner could control the ride from anywhere.
The range has since grown into a family. The Unicorn edition arrived in 2021, the portable Cone in 2024, and the self-rocking Saddle in 2025. Compact Rodeo machines brought the brand to smaller spaces, and the Rodeo Rumbler won a Red Dot Design Award in 2026. Our team's verdict on the original is in our Cowgirl Premium review.
The Cowgirl range
Every Cowgirl machine is ridden, but each one moves differently. Here is what each model and accessory does.
The Cowgirl Premium
The Premium is the machine that launched the brand in 2017. Its padded vegan leather saddle sits on a slip-resistant silicone base, with handles for carrying. The motor delivers over 1,200 RPM of vibration, with six vibration functions and 360-degree swivel rotation. A corded LED remote sits on a 10-foot cord, or you can switch to the app, which reaches about 30 feet.
Premium attachments, springs and stems
The Premium comes with two silicone attachments. Rawhide is for grinding and external contact, while Wild West is penetrative. Ten springs and stems let you set how the attachment moves. A spring lets Wild West swivel and flex, while a solid plastic stem keeps it firm. Our reviewer suggests trying both, since the feel changes completely between them. Swapping takes only a minute.
The Unicorn Premium
The Unicorn became a permanent premium edition of the Cowgirl in June 2021. It uses the same powerful platform, with up to 1,200 RPM, 360-degree rotation and app or remote control. The saddle is vegan leather in a fantasy finish, with themed attachments for penetrative and external play. It supports riders up to 400 pounds and suits couples and solo users.
The Cowgirl Saddle
The Saddle launched in July 2025 and moves on its own. COTR says its self-rocking motion was inspired by the rhythm of horse riding, so you control the ride without working your legs. It offers five thrusting speeds, five vibration speeds and five clitoral tapping speeds. Magnetic attachments swap quickly, and the battery runs about an hour and a half.
Thrust Rider
Thrust Rider adds true thrusting to a rocking saddle. The 5.5-inch silicone dildo moves up to 4 inches across eight thrusting modes and five speeds. A separate tapper targets the clitoris with six speeds, and an anti-gravity rocking motion moves the seat. It weighs about 11 pounds and runs around two hours per charge, so it is easy to store.
Rodeo Rider
Rodeo Rider is a compact, rideable machine for internal and external play together. A curved 127 mm dildo thrusts toward the G-spot, while an independent tapper works the clitoris. You get 10 thrusting and tapping modes and an adjustable shaft angle. A strong suction base holds it in place on smooth surfaces, and it charges with a magnetic USB cable.
Rodeo Rumbler Grinder
The Rodeo Rumbler is built for grinding, with no penetration. Dual motors run five vibration modes and five tapping modes, together or separately, from a three-button remote. It is 292 mm long, with an anti-slip base and IPX6 splash resistance. It won a Red Dot Design Award in 2026, and WIRED named it one of the best sex machines of 2025.
The Cowgirl Cone
The Cone launched in January 2024 as The Cowgirl's most portable machine. Its wide suction base holds it to any smooth surface, so you can ride, straddle or lean into it. The launch model offered 20 vibration modes and 10 intensities by remote. Two attachments came with it: the Saddle for external play and the Alamo for G-spot or P-spot penetration.
Bareback, Buckwild and Lone Ranger
These three silicone attachments change how a Cowgirl machine feels. Bareback is a smooth, external-only riding surface with a large contact area. Buckwild adds raised ridges and contours for textured contact. Lone Ranger pairs an internal arm for the G-spot with an external section for the clitoris. They make it easy to vary each ride. Compare other sex machines in our range.
Afternoon Delight Collection
Afternoon Delight is an accessory bundle designed for The Cowgirl Premium. It adds a silicone G-spot attachment, plus a remote bullet vibrator with three speeds and eight patterns. A zinc alloy pinwheel, a satin blindfold and a feather tickler bring sensation play into the session. It suits couples who want to build a longer, slower scene around the machine, with plenty of build-up.
Rotation, thrusting or grinding?
The Cowgirl machines work in three main ways. Rotating machines, such as the Premium and Unicorn, spin and vibrate the attachment beneath you. Thrusting machines, such as the Saddle, Thrust Rider and Rodeo Rider, move a dildo in and out while you sit still. Grinding machines, such as the Rodeo Rumbler, focus on external contact with vibration and tapping.
Your choice depends on the sensation you want. If you enjoy deep, steady vibration with the option of penetration, a rotating saddle suits you. For a rhythm that feels closer to sex, choose a thrusting model. If you prefer external stimulation only, a grinder or the Bareback attachment is the best match.

Choosing your Cowgirl
Start with your space. The Premium and Unicorn are full-size machines that need a dedicated spot near a power point. The Saddle and Thrust Rider are battery-powered and lighter, so they move between rooms easily. The Rodeo machines and the Cone are compact enough to store in a cupboard.
Next, think about control. If you want a partner to drive, the Premium's app and FeelMe support allow long-distance play. Most other models use a handheld remote, which keeps things simple. Riders new to machines often find the Rodeo Rumbler or Cone an easier first step before a full-size saddle.
Finally, think about sensation. Combine a rotating saddle with Lone Ranger for blended play, or choose Bareback for external-only rides. Afternoon Delight adds a blindfold and sensation toys to make the machine part of a longer scene.
Setting up and caring for your machine
Place full-size machines on a firm floor or a stable, low surface. The silicone base resists slipping, but a towel underneath protects the floor and the machine. Keep cords clear of where you will be moving. Charge battery models fully before the first ride.
After each session, remove the attachment and wash it in warm, soapy water or with toy cleaner. Wipe the saddle with a damp cloth, as vegan leather should not be soaked. Use water-based lube with silicone attachments. Store springs, stems and attachments together in a clean bag so nothing goes missing.
Who The Cowgirl suits, and who should look elsewhere
The Cowgirl suits riders who want hands-free pleasure with real power behind it. It suits couples, since one partner can ride while the other takes the remote or app. It also suits long-distance partners and anyone who wants a statement piece rather than a toy in a drawer. Browse our wider luxury sex toys for other premium pieces.
It is not for everyone. Full-size machines are heavy and need private space. Riding takes some leg strength on non-rocking models, so the self-rocking Saddle or a compact grinder may suit better. If you only want a small vibrator, COTR's Le Wand or b-Vibe ranges are a better fit.
Please read — safety first. Set up full-size machines on a stable floor away from water, and check the cord is not a trip hazard. Make sure each attachment is locked in place before you sit down. Start on the lowest setting and build up slowly. Use plenty of water-based lube with silicone attachments. Stop if you feel numbness or pain, and take breaks during long sessions. Remove attachments and wash them in warm, soapy water after each use. This information is general in nature and is not medical advice. If you have a health condition or ongoing discomfort, stop use and speak with a qualified health professional. |
