About Skins
Skins Sexual Health began in 2008 with a simple goal: change how people feel about buying condoms. The idea was a condom people would be proud to buy, happy to carry and glad to wear. Over the next decade it added lubes, rings and supplements, and drew endorsements from TV doctors Christian Jessen and Pixie McKenna.
Skins is owned by Creative Conceptions, the family company in Newark, Nottinghamshire, best known for the Monogamy board game. Richie Bowles leads Skins as CEO. In early 2022 the brand moved into sex toys with Skins Minis. Rose Buddies and the premium Skins Touch range followed in 2023, and Skins Care followed in 2025.
Awards and recognition
Skins won Excellence in International Trade at the East Midlands Chamber Business Awards 2020, announced in March 2021. In 2023, the Rose Lix was a finalist at the Pure Beauty Global Awards. Those awards come from a cosmetics business magazine, not the adult trade. Skins products sit on mainstream health and beauty shelves in the UK as well as in adult stores.
Skins product lines
Skins splits into protection, pleasure and wellness. Every line below carries the Skins name.
Skins Condoms: where the brand began
Skins launched in 2008 with one aim: a condom people would be proud to buy and happy to carry. In 2016 it added the Skins Cube, a bedside box of 16 lightly vanilla-scented condoms. January 2026 brought non-latex Skins in regular and XL, using Thermofit material that warms with the body. Both sit naturally next to the other condoms on our shelves, and the non-latex range suits latex-sensitive partners.
Skins Lubes: Aqua, Superslide, Excite and Fruity Tubes
Skins Lubes arrived in 2020. The vital range covers Aqua, Superslide and Excite, and the fruity range comes in Watermelon, Strawberry, and Mango and Passionfruit. Fruity Tubes are water-based, sugar-free and vegan. Flavoured lubes like these are made for oral play as much as glide, a point our flavoured lube review makes too. A six-pack of 12 ml tubes lets you test them before buying full size from our lubricants and lotions.
Skins Touch: FeelMe silicone vibrators
Skins Touch launched in mid-2023 with The Rabbit, The Pebble, The Glee Spot and The Wand. Each one is coated in FeelMe, a double-dipped silicone the company describes as super soft and velvety. With no hard plastic core, the bodies bend to fit you. The Pebble is an 85 mm palm vibrator with four ridges and 10 modes. Among our sex toys for women, the 155 mm Rabbit and Glee Spot suit buyers wanting internal play.
Skins Minis: four small vibrators to start with
Skins Minis were the brand's first sex toys, added in early 2022. Jane Bowles described them as a tight collection of entry-level favourites. The Bijou Bunny is a dual-motor rabbit with 4.25 inches insertable, 10 settings and IPX6 splash-proofing. The Sweet G is a curved G-spot vibrator, and the Scream Egg is a palm-sized massager. Massage a Trois pairs one bullet with three swap-on covers.
Rose Buddies: tongue-style rose vibrators
Rose Buddies began with the Rose Lix in January 2023. It reached the Pure Beauty Global Awards finals that May. The company says it sold more than 50,000 Rose Lix in its first months. Flix, Flutters, Purrz and Twirls followed, each with a different motion, from flutter to pulse. Bums N Roses is a rotating rimming stimulator with 10 settings. It needs plenty of lube, which is why anal lube is essential.
Super Excite: gel and micro massager
Super Excite is the arousal side of Skins. The 30 ml Super Excite gel for women launched in August 2023. Skins describes it as an ultra-light gel that is quick to apply and works with solo or partner play. The Super Excite Micro Massager followed in July 2024. It is a 7.9 cm silicone bullet with 10 patterns, IPX6 water resistance and about 60 minutes per charge. Find the gel with our other excite sprays and gels.
Skins Natural Delay: serum and spray
Skins Natural Delay launched in February 2021 as a serum and a spray, each 30 ml. The company says it spent three years on the formula with a specialist, and that it contains no anaesthetics. Listed ingredients include L-arginine, ginger root and green tea extract. Apply a thin layer before sex and let it absorb. Speak to a doctor about any ongoing concern.
Skins Enhance: a daily supplement
Skins Enhance is a daily supplement for men, launched alongside Natural Delay in early 2021. The company describes the formula as Halal certified and caffeine-free. It sits in the sexual wellness side of the range rather than with the sex toys. As with any supplement, read the label and check with a pharmacist or doctor first, especially if you take other medication.
Skins Care: curved dilator sets
Skins Care is the wellness sub-brand, launched with three curved dilator kits in February 2025. Each set holds three graduated dilators in soft silicone, with a satin storage bag. Sets come in graduated sizes, including small-to-medium and medium-to-large. Dilators are used for gradual, at-home pelvic floor work. Anyone using them for a medical reason should follow a health professional's plan.
Skins Cleanse: the sex toy cleaner
Skins Cleanse arrived in April 2024 as a spray cleaner for the Skins sex toys. Spray it on, leave it for about 30 seconds, clean any grooves, then rinse with warm water. Air-dry or pat dry with a clean towel before storing. It joins the rest of our sexual health products as an easy add-on with a new vibrator. It suits every silicone model in the Skins range.
FeelMe silicone, explained
FeelMe is the name Skins gives to the coating on its Touch range. The company calls it a double-dipped silicone, meaning each body is coated twice for a softer, velvety finish. It says the vibrators are over 75% silicone, with no hard plastic core.
That matters for fit. Without a rigid core, The Rabbit and The Wand bend to follow your body rather than holding one fixed curve. In September 2024, Skins relaunched The Wand, The Rabbit and The Glee Spot with extra textured grooves and 15 vibration patterns. Listings for older stock may still show 8 patterns, so check each product page for the version you are buying.
Materials and build
The Skins vibrators are silicone, so pair them with water-based lube only. Silicone lube can break down a silicone surface over time. Our water-based lubes work with every vibrator in the range and with condoms. Most models charge by USB. The Touch range is IPX7, so it can go under water, while Minis and Super Excite are IPX6, which means splash-proof only.
The gels, sprays and serums are water-based. Read the ingredient list before first use, especially if you have sensitive skin. The new non-latex condoms suit people with a latex allergy and work with any lube.

Choosing your first Skins
If you have never owned a vibrator, the Super Excite bullet is a gentle start. It is small, quiet and simple to use. If you want something that feels more like touch than buzz, try a Rose Buddies model, which uses tongue-style motion instead of plain vibration.
For a step up in feel, the Skins Touch range is the premium pick. The Pebble suits clitoral play, The Glee Spot suits internal play, and The Rabbit does both. Couples who like to share can start with the Skins Minis Massage a Trois, since its three covers suit different bodies.
Building a Skins kit
Because one company makes every part of the range, Skins products are designed to work together. A practical starter kit is a vibrator, a matching lube and a cleaner. For example, pair The Pebble with Aqua lube and a bottle of Skins Cleanse. Water-based Aqua will not harm the FeelMe coating, and Cleanse keeps the ridges clean between uses.
Couples can add the non-latex condoms and a Fruity Tube for oral play. If one partner wants more sensation, a few drops of Super Excite gel can go on before play starts. Keep each product in its own bag in the drawer, so silicone surfaces never rest against each other for long.
Who Skins suits — and who should look elsewhere
Skins suits shoppers who want one brand for condoms, lube and a first vibrator. It also suits buyers who prefer soft, flexible silicone over rigid, heavy designs. Small sizes and quiet motors make most models easy to keep in a bedside drawer.
Look elsewhere if you want app control, a powerful plug-in wand or large insertables. Skins keeps its vibrators small to mid-sized. If you need a medical device, speak with a health professional before choosing any Skins Care product.
Please read — safety first. Use water-based lube with every Skins vibrator, because silicone lube can damage silicone sex toys. Charge with the supplied cable, and only put rated waterproof models, like the IPX7 Pebble, under water. Anything used anally needs a base you can hold, and never go from anal to vaginal play without washing first. Patch-test gels, sprays and serums on the inner arm before first use, and stop if you feel burning or itching. Check condom expiry dates, and only use water- or silicone-based lube with condoms. This information is general in nature and is not medical advice. If you have a health condition or ongoing discomfort, stop use and speak with a qualified health professional. |
