The Stockroom is a Los Angeles maker of BDSM gear, founded in 1988. Its lines include KinkLab, with the Neon Wand and Bondage Basics, plus JT Signature, Stupid Cute, Vondage, Clear CTRL, Stormy Leather and Syren Latex.

About The Stockroom

In 1988, Occidental College student Joel Tucker went to buy some basic bondage gear. When he was quoted $250, he decided there had to be a better way. His girlfriend had just taken a leatherworking class, so they began making their own restraints on his living room floor. The business soon grew out of the living room.

The Stockroom was selling online by 1990, before the World Wide Web took off, using email, newsgroups and bulletin boards. It launched stockroom.com in the mid-1990s. Over the years it acquired Daedalus Publishing, Syren Latex and Stormy Leather. Its stated goal is quality kink gear that normal budgets can afford.

Stockroom Originals

Stockroom Originals is the company’s main house range, much of it handmade in Los Angeles. It covers padded posture collars, bondage hoods, harnesses, adjustable stocks, posture bars, muzzles and chastity belts. The trademarked Bolero Straitjacket is a signature piece.

KinkLab

KinkLab is The Stockroom’s value-priced range of practical BDSM gear. It includes leather and neoprene cuffs, a general-purpose spreader bar, bondage rope, blindfolds and hoods. Forceps, vampire gloves and leather and rubber cock rings are part of it too. The VibeRite cordless wand and its Double Agent attachment are KinkLab too.

KinkLab ElectroErotic

ElectroErotic is KinkLab’s electro sex line, built around the Neon Wand. The wand sends a static discharge across the skin, from a warm tingle to a sharp spark. Vondage

Vondage is The Stockroom’s vegan bondage line, made from faux leather. It covers collars, chokers, restraints, a hog tie, stocks and a hobble belt. Silicone ball and bit gags, muzzles, a head harness, a strap-on harness and a bust harness complete it.

Clear CTRL

Clear CTRL is made from transparent vinyl, so the body shows through the straps. The line includes wrist and ankle cuffs, a locking collar, choker, leash, hog tie, bust harness, waist cincher, strap-on harness and a locking chastity belt.

Full Curves Bondage Line

Full Curves is sized for larger, curvier bodies. It includes a leather bust harness, a four-point restraint, a strap-on harness and the Ophelia corset from Stormy Leather.
