About Leg Avenue

The Tsai family moved from Taiwan to Los Angeles in 1984. They bought low-cost goods in the downtown fashion district and sold them at swap meets and kiosks, six days a week. Stockings were the best sellers because they were cheap and easy to carry. Amy Tsai, one of four children, pushed for more distinctive designs, such as thigh-highs with biker zips.
