About Eye of Love

Eye of Love was founded by Alberto Chowaiki, who had worked as a consultant for brands in the US and overseas. In our 2017 interview with Jacqui Rubinoff, the team explained his starting point. He found people using pheromone products for everyday confidence, not only for sex. So he built a brand around fragrance you would wear to work, on a date or at home. The company says it has been family-run in San Diego since 2011, and Chowaiki filed the first US trademark in April 2012.

Jacqui Rubinoff joined as Director of Marketing and Sales and is now Vice President and co-owner. She is also a certified love coach, and she leads much of the brand’s public education. That includes Pheromone Friday, a weekly video and article series on Eye of Love’s own site. Patti Stanger later co-created the Matchmaker line with the brand. Eye of Love now ships to more than 20 countries from warehouses on three continents.

Eye of Love product lines

Eye of Love sells its fragrances in named lines, each with its own scents and bottle style. The Genie M-Cups sit outside the fragrance range but carry the same trademark.

Classic Collection: the original six scents

The Classic Collection is where Eye of Love began, and it still carries the best-known names. After Dark blends jasmine, lily and white chocolate for evenings. Morning Glow opens with ylang-ylang, lemon and apple for daytime. One Love mixes citrus, jasmine and musk, and Confidence pairs citrus with honey and jasmine. Romantic, the men’s cologne, sits on lemongrass, mint and sandalwood. Unscented carries the pheromones with no added fragrance, so it layers under your usual perfume. Most come as 50 ml body sprays and 10 ml travel sprays. Unlike excite sprays, which act on the skin, these are worn like a perfume at the pulse points.

Matchmaker: the Patti Stanger diamond bottles

Matchmaker was co-created with Patti Stanger, the matchmaker from the US reality series. Its scents come in a faceted, diamond-shaped bottle. Red Diamond mixes jasmine, grapefruit and amber with a touch of citrus. Black Diamond pairs cedar, blackcurrant and lemon over oak, white amber and musk. Each scent has “attract him”, “attract her” and “attract all” versions, including same-sex options. The 2022 Couples Kit packs one 10 ml bottle of each. Perfume oils followed. In March 2026 came Kiss Chemistry lip glosses: Pink Pulse shifts colour with your lips’ pH, and Crimson Kiss plumps.

Bloom: day and night pairs

Bloom is Eye of Love’s newer line, built around day and night scent pairs. For women, Sunny Daze (bergamot, rose and jasmine) is the daytime scent, inspired by Sativa strains. Lilac Dream is its evening partner, with apple blossom, vanilla, cashmere wood and musk. For men, Earth’s Desire layers cypress, bergamot, tobacco and amber, with Blue Ember as the night option. Bloom comes as 30 ml sprays, 20 ml roll-on oils, dropper oils (July 2025), room sprays and candles. Some Adultsmart titles call the line “Love In Bloom”. The Bloom Pheromone Roll-On Duo was a 2026 XMA nominee.

N52: the strongest cologne

N52 is a single men’s cologne and the most concentrated product in the range. Eye of Love states it holds 40% more pheromones than any other product it makes. The scent opens on bright citrus and lavender, then settles into sage, amber and cedarwood. It comes in a 50 ml bottle. Because it is stronger, start with one spray rather than three. N52 suits men who already like a classic fresh cologne and want the most pheromone per spray in one bottle.

Pheromone massage candles: three jobs in one jar

Eye of Love’s massage candles use a shea butter base that melts into a warm oil. The brand calls them 3-in-1: room fragrance, massage oil and body moisturiser. Light the candle, let it melt for about 20 minutes, then blow it out and pour a little oil into your palm. Scents follow the perfumes, so you can match a candle to the spray you wear. Options include Romantic, After Dark, Morning Glow, One Love, Confidence, Red Diamond, Black Diamond and Bloom’s Earth’s Desire.

Beyond sprays, Eye of Love makes pheromone body oils in the Bloom and Matchmaker scents. What is inside an Eye of Love bottle

Each product pairs a fragrance with one or both of two compounds. Androstenol is a steroid found in human sweat. Estratetraenol is a steroid first identified in women. Adultsmart’s listings show androstenol mostly in the men’s colognes and estratetraenol mostly in the women’s perfumes. Unscented and the “attract all” versions use both. Eye of Love states both are made from wild yam root, not from animals. That is why it calls the range vegan.

It is worth being clear about the science. Animal pheromones are well proven, but research on human pheromones is limited and often disputed. Studies have not shown that a spray makes someone attracted to you. What most wearers notice is a good-smelling perfume and a lift in their own confidence. The roll-on and dropper oils have no alcohol. They sit closer to the skin, project less and tend to suit dry or sensitive skin.
