About Dame

Dame was founded in New York in 2014 by Alexandra Fine and Janet Lieberman. Fine trained in clinical psychology with a focus on sex therapy at Columbia University. Lieberman is an MIT-trained mechanical engineer. Their goal was to close the pleasure gap, the difference in how often women and men reach orgasm during sex.
