About Blush

Blush began with a bicycle. Co-founder Eric Lee once rode from shop to shop in New York City, selling sex toys, then packing and delivering the orders himself. Verna Meng, who had worked as a translator between American and Chinese businesses, built the supplier network. The couple launched Blush Novelties in 2007, and Verna is now CEO.

Eric saw that many toys of the time were made from poor, untested materials. From the start, Blush set out to make body-safe toys, years before rules like Prop 65 pushed the industry that way. The company now owns two factories and has a design team in New York and China. In 2022 it dropped "Novelties" from its name. Verna explained that its vibrators and rings are "wellness products that serve a need", not jokes.

Blush product lines

Blush runs dozens of separate lines, each with its own look and packaging. Many shoppers never realise they come from the same maker. Each line sets its own price level, materials and audience, from budget TPE to premium silicone. Here is every Blush line, including a few we do not list yet.

Dr. Skin

Dr. Skin is Blush's best-selling lifelike dildo brand, split into four collections: Dr. Skin, Dr. Skin Glide, Dr. Skin Plus and Dr. Skin Silicone. Sizes run from 4 to 19 inches, and most have suction cups and harness-ready bases. Glide models turn slippery with a splash of water, Plus models are posable, and Silicone models use Puria silicone. Few realistic dildos come in such a wide spread of sizes, so it is easy to move up as you gain confidence.

Avant

Avant is Blush's artisan-inspired line of hand-sculpted silicone dildos and plugs in swirled, sunset-style colourways. Recent models such as Borealis Dreams, Midnight Rendezvous, Sunrise Gaze and Daydream use Puria or Purio platinum-cured silicone with an UltraSilk finish. Aria

Aria is a set of ten compact vibrators, each with an "AF" name, such as Smokin' AF, Flirty AF and Bangin' AF. All are made from platinum-cured Puria silicone and are fully submersible. Temptasia

Stay Hard is Blush's line of cock rings and sleeves, and distributors name it as one of its top sellers. It covers stretchy donut and bead rings, Nutz rings, double loops, ball stretchers and numbered cock sleeves. Several models add a vibrating bullet, such as the 10 Function Bull Ring and Super Clitifier. Most rings stretch to fit many sizes.

Performance and Performance Plus

Performance is Blush's men's enhancement line. It includes the VS series of silicone ring sets and cock-and-ball straps, plus sheaths and extenders. Its VX range covers manual and automatic penis pumps, from the hand-squeeze VX101 to the VX9 auto pump. Anal Adventures runs from soft starter plugs to the Platinum silicone range and the Matrix plugs. Coverboy (formerly Loverboy)

Coverboy is the new name for Loverboy, Blush's line of fantasy-man dildos and strokers. Blush changed the name in September 2023 but kept designs, sizes and prices the same. Characters include The Pool Boy, Ranger Rob, Top Gun Tommy and The Mailman. Most dildos have suction cups and fit an O-ring harness. You may still see either name on boxes.

Au Naturel

Au Naturel is a realistic dildo line built on Blush's Sensa Feel dual-density material. A firm core sits under a softer outer layer, so it feels more like skin. Hop

Hop is Blush's family of rabbit vibrators, launched in 2017. Blush made them more petite than its earlier rabbits after feedback that many were too wide. Lush

The Realm

The Collection and Blush Collection

The Collection is Blush's gift and accessory line, including cotton storage bags such as Burst and Embrace. In late 2023 Blush added its flagship Blush Collection, mixing its best-loved toys with new releases. Its 2025 Kissing Rose is a silicone clitoral massager with three tongue-like "French Kiss" settings and ten vibration modes. The cotton bags wash in a machine, which keeps stored toys clean and dust-free.

Queens Reign

Queens Reign is a Rococo-inspired luxury line launched at Altitude Intimates in March 2026. It includes a lipstick vibrator, a gilded slim vibe and a wand with a broad, flexible head. There is also a pendant necklace that doubles as a mini vibrator. All are body-safe silicone, waterproof and rechargeable, with ten modes. We do not list it yet. Puria, Purio and other Blush materials

Blush names its own materials, which helps you compare toys across lines. Puria and Purio are its platinum-cured silicones. Platinum-cured silicone is non-porous, so it washes clean and does not hold bacteria. UltraSilk is a smooth, satin-like finish used on Avant and other premium pieces.

Sensa Feel is a dual-density TPE used in realistic dildos, with a firm core and a softer outer layer. BioFeel is the plant-based bioplastic used in Gaia. Budget lines also use ABS plastic, TPE or PVC. These are body-safe when made well, but softer TPE and PVC are slightly porous, so use a condom if you share them. Check each listing for the exact material before you buy, especially if you want to use a silicone lube.

Built in-house and tested

Most adult brands buy from outside factories. Blush owns its two factories, so it chooses the raw materials and runs quality control at the source. It says every product then goes through independent lab testing, with final checks by Bay Area Compliance Laboratory Corp. in the US.

Owning the factories also keeps prices down. That is why Blush can sell a basic ring and a premium silicone dildo under the same roof. Blush has also moved its Hunan factory to solar power. Its Gaia packaging uses kraft paper, soy-based ink and a cotton-wrapped charging cord.
