About Bijoux Indiscrets

Bijoux Indiscrets was founded in Barcelona around 2006 by Elsa Viegas and Marta Aguiar. Their idea was that erotic accessories could be beautiful enough to wear in public. Pearl strands double as wrist ties, a chain necklace hides a whip, and a harness passes for a fashion piece. The name means "indiscreet jewels", and the brand still treats jewellery as its starting point.

The company later moved into vibrators with Twenty One, a vibrating diamond, and into cosmetics with Slow Sex in 2019. Elsa calls Slow Sex the brand's boldest step, and its boxes carry a "Pleasure Revolution" manifesto. Bubblegum and Clitherapy brought a more playful tone.
