About Big Mouth Toys

Steve Wampold founded BigMouth in 2001 in Connecticut with a simple brief: make everyday things funny. The company grew in Glastonbury on drinkware jokes and giant pool floats, and BigMouth gifts reached shops in more than 50 countries. That year, private equity firm CID Capital bought the business, with Wampold staying on to lead creative development.

Today BigMouth is based in Omaha, Nebraska, and describes itself as a subsidiary of WOW Sports, a water-sports and backyard brand.
