About Autoblow

Autoblow is the work of Brian Sloan, an American who studied law but never practised. In 2008 he began selling an automatic stroker made in a Chinese factory under the Autoblow name. He then spent three years and about US$100,000 developing his own design. The result, the Autoblow 2, launched on Indiegogo in 2014. It raised over US$280,000, six times its goal, and went on to appear on TV's Silicon Valley.

Records, nominations and contests

Autoblow built its name online rather than on the wholesale awards circuit. Its biggest marker is crowdfunding. The Autoblow 2 raised over US$280,000 on Indiegogo in 2014, a record for a male sex toy at the time. The Autoblow A.I. then raised US$755,000, beating that record by more than US$350,000. Trade title EroticTradeOnly reported the new record in October 2019.

The Autoblow 2 also made the shortlist at the then-new Sexual Health Expo (SHE) Awards in February 2015. It was nominated for Best Sex Toy for Men, alongside Cobra Libre for Men. How Autoblow motion works

Most Autoblow machines use the linear motion system covered by Sloan's patents. A motor turns a screw, which moves a gripper back and forth.
