8 Delectable Tastings Of Flavoured Lube

Flavoured Lube For Oral Sex

Not all lubes are created equal. Both for taste and usability flavoured lubes can be either a hit or a big miss. The Wicked range of flavoured lubes claims to be different, with flavours like Mocha Java and Salted Caramel this isn’t the cheap, sticky, sweet smelling stuff that flavoured lubes used to be in the past. I was able to taste a few lubes from their range and I will break down the experience of each so you don’t end up with a full bottle of flavoured lube that you can’t stand the taste of. Basically I am putting my taste buds on the line for you dear reader… Yes, I am very brave.

But before we begin with the lube tasting, here are a few do’s and don’ts of flavoured lube.

DO: Pick a flavour that you can stand time and time again. You are getting a full bottle and if you don’t want any to go to waste I suggest picking a flavour that is slightly sweet and not to overpowering. Yes those banana caramel flavours tasted great once but are you up for eating it over and over again?

DON’T: Use flavoured lube for vaginal intercourse if you are prone to yeast infections. Glycerine is in a few lubricants, and whilst it will usually only break down into a sugar through digestion – it can still cause issues with some people and even change the PH of the vagina which may then result in a yeast infection or another irritation. If you’re prone to these kinds of irritations, you might want to play it safe and go for Glycerine free lubricant. If you are planning on using the lube for vaginal intercourse a spot test is recommended. The best use for flavoured lubes is during foreplay specifically for oral sex. Most flavoured lubes are water based and are safe to use with condoms and toys.

DO: Have fun! Flavoured lube is a great introduction to the sex toy accessory game for those who are a little on the shy side and a yummy accompaniment for those who aren’t shy and just want to try something new.

On to the taste test!

This is only one woman’s opinions, the best way to really know what Wicked flavoured lube is best for you is to stop into an Oh! Zone Adult Lifestyle Centre for your own taste test!

Vanilla Bean

The Vanilla bean is lovely (full confession, I am a vanilla freak, candles, scents I love it!) It has a beautiful aroma and starts out sweet but fades quickly, leaving only the impression of vanilla not something you will taste all day. The Wicked lube itself it a nice consistence and isn’t overly jelly like which for me at least is a nicer eating experience.

Mocha Java

Coffee lovers rave about this flavour and I can see why! After an intial hit of sweetness, a choc coffee flavour develops and fills your mouth. The best part is that while it does taste llike coffee it doesn’t leave you with coffee breath (trust me I checked.) or even really an aftertaste (none of the Wicked flavoured lubes leave you with an after taste.)

Candy Apple

OH MY GOD!  This tastes exactly like the toffee apples you can buy from the supermarket! MAJOR FLASHBACKS! This lube is delicious, and has made me crave a toffee apple.

Cherry Cordial

I don’t like cherries, but I love Cherry Ripes by Cadbury. This tastes like a cherry ripe without the chocolate so I am a huge fan, although I think having this in my house would be dangerous… I would just walk around eating it, sex be damned! Also it is worth mentioning that I have been tasting the lubes using my hands and I expected them to be very sticky but they aren’t. This is a pet peeve of mine (and many others) with flavoured lube and it is a nice change to not be left sticky.

Cinnamon Bun

I expected them to get the cinnamon flavour right  but how they got it to taste like a fresh baked bun I will never get! While I am personally not a fan of cinnamon I can say that even I enjoyed this flavour.

Salted Caramel

I would put this on ice-cream! It tastes amazing and has the beautiful smoky flavour that has made salted caramel so popular. I should also mention that the entire wicked flavoured lube range is vegan! Meaning that our herbivore friends do not need to miss out on the fun.

Really Really Really yummy! This lube is surprisingly fresh tasting and lighter in flavour than some of the other lubes on offer. This would be the one I would personally purchase, I think it is a flavour that I could taste again and again and still not be tired of.

Limited edition: Peppermint Cocoa

Released in time for Christmas (and this tasting) the peppermint cocoa is a subtle flavour that is giving me major Christmas flashbacks to trees and presents and family time… pretty impressive for a lube.

Final Thoughts

Personally I wasn’t a big fan of flavoured lubes, I have a disagreeable stomach and I normally prefer savoury flavours but the Wicked range has me reconsidering. The more complex flavours and the well-made lube itself makes me think it might be time to bring some flavour back into the bedroom. My only worry is that I will eat it all before I get a chance to use it how it was intended… Oh well.

Improve A Blow Job In Less Than 1 Minute

3 Hot Women Deep Throating Lollipop

Deep throating, ball gagging, fellatio, blow job – No matter which word you want to call it, men all around the world love it and some would definitely like more of it! But the important question that is on everyone’s lips and tongues is “How do I get more blow jobs?” The answer to that question is to make the experience more enjoyable and exhilarating for your lover by providing them with some flavoured lubricant.

What Flavours Are There?

Let’s face it, who wants to taste a plain old penis when you can taste a penis which is flavoured with salted caramel, vanilla, candy apple and mocha java – if these flavours tickle your fancy they are brought to you buy the sexual health brand Wicked Sensual Care. If you aren’t into those flavours you can try something that tastes more natural like mango, watermelon, strawberry and cherry which is brought to you by the sexual health brand ID Lubes.

If you are lucky the flavour will taste out of this world and your lover will treat it almost as if it were a lollipop or ice-cream that is quickly melting away. You know those commercials on TV or when you are watching a movie on Netflix where you see a hot guy or women wearing extremely tight clothing on a hot day in spring or summer and they are quenching their need to cool down? Don’t you want to experience that for yourself? Flavoured lubricant could be the one thing that you need which will give you that experience.

To ensure that they enjoy the flavoured lubricant you can ask them what types of foods, sweets or fruits that they enjoy, that will help you pick out something which specifically suits what they like. You can also give your lover a small dab on their finger so that they can taste test it before it is used.

Can I Use Flavoured Lubricant With Condoms?

There are even condoms which you can buy that already have flavoured lubricant on them, one of the highly recommended brands is a Four Seasons Condoms product range named Naked which feels like you aren’t really wearing anything at all. One of the best reasons to buy condoms that already have the flavour on them is that you don’t have to worry about choosing a lubricant for yourself. Some lubricants run the risk of degrading the condom which be a scary thought. Please be aware that you should never use an oil-based lubricant with a condom… ever! This is because added friction, warmth and the materials that they are made from negatively react and can break the condom which nobody wants to happen. You need to invest in a flavoured lubricant which is considered to be latex friendly.

A condom can take away from the pleasure of a blow job but it is not worth removing it if you are at the risk of contracting a sexually transmitted disease or infection. Instead leave the condom on and apply the flavoured lubricant on top. Make sure your lover is careful so that they don’t break the condom when they are giving you a blow job.

Most water-based lubricants and silicone-based lubricant are safe to use with latex condoms, but you will need to read the packaging extremely carefully to ensure that the product that you are planning on purchasing is latex safe or latex friendly. One of the benefits of buying water-based lubricant is that it is easy to clean off with some soapy water. You can also use water-based lubricant with your sex toys as it won’t degrade the material whereas a silicone-based lubricant will degrade materials like silicone.

Where Is The Best Place To Store Flavoured Lubricant

Once you’ve scored some of that smooth tasty stuff, you can keep it in your bedside table for easy access and so it is kept away from prying eyes. When your lover and you are playing around you can offer it to make the experience that much more enjoyable.

How Do I Use Flavoured Lubricant?

To use, you don’t need much start foreplay off with a nickel-sized dab on the palm of your hands, rub your hands together to warm it up and massage it onto your penis. Gradually spread it over the tip of the penis and work your way down the shaft for complete coverage, if you would like even more pleasure you can massage it onto your testicles.

When your lover goes down on you, the lubricant may run out, you just need to apply some more to get the flavour back and repeat that process as necessary. To make thing’s even more interesting you can change the flavours as you go, so your lover can try something new each and every time they go down on you.

Can Women Use Flavoured Lubricants?

Although we have mainly spoken about flavoured lubricant on men, it leaves us to the question whether they can be used on women? The vagina is quite a delicate area and is made with sensitive tissue. There are certain ingredients which you should avoid as they can increase the risk of getting a vaginal yeast infection. Avoid using any products that contain Glycerine, Sugar, Petroleum Jelly, Acetate, Propylene Glycol and Parabens. Once you have found a flavoured lubricant which is suitable, Kerner says ”Put a couple drops on your clitoris and have him give back where its due.”

Some Flavorsome Delights For All Those Intimate Times!

I am reviewing two of our recent additions to our Oh Zone Adult Lifestyle Centres sex toy shops in the oral sex department including Sensuva’s Sizzle Lips Warming Edible Gel which is a flavoured lubricant and the Sensuva’s Deeply Love You which is a throat relaxing spray.

I am normally exclusively a salted caramel lubricant girl but I have been really impressed by these products and they have been selling really well in our Penrith store, even though they don’t come in salted caramel flavour (*tear*). Sensuva Deeply Love You comes in three flavours – Cinnamon, Chocolate Mint and Buttered Rum. There have been deep throat sprays for oral sex on the market for a long time. They numb and relax the area to avoid gagging and make the experience of giving head more relaxed. What I like about these ones is that they are more attractively marketed and packaged than the usual and I really like the chocolate mint flavour. I have not tried them in person whilst actually doing the deed but I have sampled our testers in store to get an idea of what customers should expect.

Steps To Use The Relaxing Spray:

  1. Shake the bottle first.
  2. Open your mouth wide.
  3. Uncap the bottle.
  4. Spray the liquid towards the back of your throat.
  5. Keep your head tilted slightly upwards.

The reason I say “Keep your head tilted slight upwards” is that when I tried it, it was during a slow period at work and with no customers, in the store I thought it would be a good opportunity to try it out without too much embarrassment if it somehow went wrong. So I sprayed it in my mouth and the slight shock of the strength and flavour distracted me. I was sort of looking downwards, opening and closing my mouth just getting used to the sensation when the buzzer went off to let me know customers were coming in to the shop, and I jerked my head up, not realising that the spray had made me salivate a bit more than usual and a wonderfully dignified drool is what happened next as my head came up, of course, just as I was about to try and greet customers. Please learn from my shame and don’t make the same mistake at home – unless of course some unexpected drooling is going to enhance the scene (and who am I to judge?)

Sensuva Deeply Love You Image
Image: Sensuva Deeply Love You – Throat Relaxing Spray

Ok, so that was a slightly shaming experience, BUT it goes to show that this would be a great product for oral sex as the numbing effect is definitely for real, and the extra saliva will only add to how great it feels for the recipient. It’s also a funny story to re-enact when I’m drunk, so there’s that.

Flavour-wise, I found both the Cinnamon and Buttered Rum to be less than thoroughly delightful, but they’re not bad enough to not use the product. Chocolate Mint, on the other hand, was really quite tasty. Just be warned, all the flavours taste quite strong initially.

The numbing effect happens pretty quickly and seems to last between 10 mins and half an hour. Most of the effect had gone for me after about 15-20 mins from one squirt of the stuff, but it took about half an hour before it was 100% gone. Which is pretty ideal really for the purposes. If oral is going continuously for longer than that you’re probably going to have a pretty sore jaw. And you can always re-apply if you want a stupendously long session.

Next, on to the Sizzle Lips, it comes in three flavours – Caramel Apple (slight favourite, it is caramel after all). Strawberry and Hot Buttered Rum. Now, these three flavours are all major winners in my book. Super, super tasty. Even though I wasn’t keen on the Rum flavour in their deep throat spray, in the lubricant it’s delicious. Quite probably it’s just hard to find a flavour that can overcome the numbing agents in the spray. But yes, the lube, Oh My God yes. Not only are the flavours fantastic, but there is also a slight warming effect too. I wasn’t sure how fantastic that would be in my mouth but it was actually incredible. The whole thing is like eating the most mouth-watering dessert, and I can only imagine how fantastic it would be in the bedroom. Warming lubes increase arousal and pleasure when used in intimate areas and one which is tasty as hell gets two very enthusiastic thumbs up from me. High. Quality.

Sizzle Lips are water based lubes so they are safe to use with toys, although I would avoid getting them inside your vagina as flavoured lubes can sometimes provoke thrush. Best to save them for oral and you can always use a wet wipe such as Wet Stuff Swipes, which is safe to use on intimate areas, to get off any residue if you move from oral to penetration in the one session. These lubes also contain glycerine (from vegetables) and tea tree oil, so if you are sensitive to these products just be aware and if necessary avoid them.

A Totally Wicked Lube That Is Full of Flavor!

Wicked lubricant line motto is:

“To enhance sexual experiences through engaging the senses, and too ultimately magnify excitement by allowing people to indulge in their sensuality.”

I can safely and happily say TICK! TICK! AND TICK! Wicked’s range of flavoured lubricants are so good they are to die for. Wicked lubricant is water based, it’s paraben-free, condom latex friendly, and importantly vegan friendly. Being a vegan product can make you feel extra good for buying it, especially if you really love animals. Wicked lubricant is proud to be a cruelty-free brand. They strongly disagree on testing any of their products on animals. Unfortunately, due to the nature of the product the flavoured lubricants do contain Glycerine and it is recommended that if you’re a repeat sufferer of Urinary Tract Infections or yeast infections that you avoid these products and those alike.

What do I love about Wicked‘s flavoured lubricants? Aside from what has already been established, the consistency of this lubricant is very thin, and its so smooth and silky to touch. This silky consistency is unlike any other flavoured lubricant I have ever tried. Most flavoured lubricants are typically sticky, gloopy and leave a horrible mess on the skin no matter what company they are from. When the lubricant is applied they sometimes lose their flavour and need to be consistently re-applied. I am happy to say, this is definitely not the case with wicked lubricant – Hallelujah!

Wicked Teasers Flavoured Lubricant
Sex Product: Wicked Teasers Flavoured Lubricant

Just like some other water based lubricants, I found the flavoured range by wicked replicate the bodies natural lubrication, and allow your body to still produce natural lubrication throughout use. This is so that when your having sexual intercourse your not feeling the lubricant but allowing your body to adjust. I personally found their flavours fantastic for oral sex. The flavours include vanilla bean, candy apply, mocha java, salted caramel and pomegranate. The flavoured lubricant is extremely thin which allowed for smoother sexual motions and they taste absolutely incredible which is a bonus! It felt more like I was picking my favourite flavoured cupcake than expecting a horrible taste in my mouth. Whilst I definitely enjoyed the flavours, I can appreciate that if you enjoy a more subtle flavour then wicked may not be for you. Whilst they are strong flavours, I’ve only found one of their flavours sickly sweet which is candy apple but you might enjoy that!

Flavored Lubes
Wicked Flavors

Flavours I have tried:

  • Candy Apple: Candy Apple as previously mentioned, it was quite sickly but still definitely isn’t awful tasting. If you’re not a sweet tooth I’d stay clear of this one because it will just make you feel uncomfortable.
  • Salted Caramel: Salted Caramel is amazing. In the least weird possible way it brings me back to my childhood when my mum used to make these delicious salted caramel lollipops from home. It is the perfect amount of sweetness, counteracted by the perfect amount of saltiness.
  • Mocha Java: Mocha Java is to die for. Literally. I’m the biggest coffee fan ever and this lubricant definitely takes my mind straight to the organic café in Thirroul who do the BEST mochas I’ve ever had. It is EASILY the most realistic tasting lubricant I’ve ever tasted. Part of me wants to dribble that stuff on my ice cream but I can most definitely appreciate it for the intended use.

I love this Wicked Lubricant range

due to the fact that Wicked have paid close attention to the anatomy of our bodies and upon researching have seen how much they actually warn people off of using if you’re prone to UTI’s and yeast infections. The Wicked’s care factor for the health of their customers, it is vegan friendly and does not test their products on animals shows a lot of value towards the company which bumps them up the love list for sure! They have a dedicated page to show people who should not use these products, but also explain that whilst it does contain glycerine, any glycerine used is derived from 100% plant based derivatives. This is most definitely my preferred choice of flavoured lubricants and I can’t speak highly enough of the experiences that I have had with the brand! Wicked Flavoured Lubricant is simply amazing.
