Molten Mastery – Wax Play Appreciation

erotic wax

Indulge in your senses.

Close your eyes and imagine the thick rivulets of wax sliding over the mounds and curves of your skin, set hard in the cool air that hovers around you.

Ever been interested in the sensations of hot and cold?

Ever enjoyed hot hot showers or perhaps the allure of stone massages?

Perhaps Wax play is for you dearest.

Wax play is the art of pouring, dripping and playing with fetsih wax on the human body. Either stand alone or in conjunction with being tied up, flogged, or as part of a scene. Wax in itself is a beautiful material and comes in many different colours and temperatures.

To begin our divulge into this art form we must first impart how important it is to only use fetish candles that are specific to fetish play. You mustn’t use candles that can be bought from convenience store or hardware stores as they will have unpredictable burning temperatures, be mixed with chemicals that will have unstable burning properties and have a higher risk of causing lasting damage to skin.

Candles used in wax play will be made out of two different types of materials. Soy or paraffin or a combination of the two. Never use Beeswax candles. These will burn too hot for human skin to handle and cause burns to the skin that will need emergency attention.

When preparing for any wax play always ensure that your space is clear and clean to play. Remove any flammable materials in case your candles were to knock over to ensure there are no fire hazards. In the event that something was to catch on fire or the wax was too hot for the skin, also ensure that there are precautions to put out the fire and a damp cloth to remove hot wax from the body and burn gel. Just in case. Safety first.

Next, place matting, sheeting or padding down for ease of cleaning up. Wax play can get messy. Another reason why it is so scrumptiously fun. For this reason, do not attempt it on the carpets.

Now, our choice of tools. You may choose to drip the wax from the candles, or melt and pour the wax from a wax melting pot with a small scoop/ladle. This is called flooding. Scooping larger amounts of liquid wax can be visually stunning but don’t forget it will also be more intense with heat, so ensure that the skin is prepped and that you have built up to this step. You are not going all out on a whim, this is an art form to be worked up to.

Start by picking a comfortable spot to lie or sit down and begin by negotiating the scene. Discuss what will be happening, any hard or soft limits, that there may be. Warm up the areas of skin by using massage candles (typically hot oil that won’t have a burning temperature but still feels oh so good) or some light impact play. This will warm up the skin and get it ready for the heat of the wax that is about to be indulged in. Temperature play on cold and skin that isn’t ready can be dangerous and can be a risk for the “bottom” or the person that is receiving it.

Both for dripping and pouring wax, there are different techniques that can be used that will change the way that the wax will both the temperature and the feel on the skin. The closer you spill the wax to the ski, the hotter it will feel, the more immediate it will come and the smoother it will linger. The further away, the cooler it will be as it will have more opportunity to intertwine with the air around it. The more anticipation there will be, as there will be more time for the wax to fall from where it is being spilled from. Depending on the height of the fall will also affect the impact of the wax on the skin and in particular how messy it may be. This can cause some absolutely magnificent splashwork that cannot be replicated, one of a kind artwork and artfeel.

Cleaning up can be part of the fun of wax play. To make taking wax off easier, rub moisturiser or oil onto the skin beforehand. Peel off wax in larger chunks, or incorporate blunt (or if you’re game and it is your kink a sharp knife) to scrape off the wax. Ice will help the wax harden and help to remove it and add a cool element to your temperature play.

  • Some tips and tricks to remember:

  • Tie up hair to keep it out of the wax

  • Shave or keep wax away from body hair

  • Do not put wax into the belly button as it is very hard to ensure that it is completely cleaned out.

  • Always keep wax away from the face

  • Take lots of photos (with permission) to remember how much fun it is and to show the person what a lovely canvas they make.

A Very Kinky Christmas

Naughty Santa

So you want to give the gift of kink this Christmas, but have no clue where to start? Well lucky you, you’re in exactly the right place to find out! We can start basic and work our way up, whether you’re an amateur or a real A list Dom we’ll have something for everyone.

First things first, are we talking just adding a bit of spice via sex toys? If so here are a few for all my people out there looking,

You can start with the basics, even just a bullet vibrator to help rest some wrists and fingers (even they deserve a few public holidays off). For this I’ve got two obvious choices:

Maia Jessi
This bad boy is one of the strongest bullets you’ll get that won’t break the bank, this one comes with 10 functions, 3 speeds (which will rock your world) and 7 pulse settings, fully waterproof, rechargeable, and comes with a 1 year warranty? This gets a big yes from me, as I tell all my customers this guy was my best friend for 2 years, and fixed my life after a breakup, before I delved further into the toy life.

Lovense Ambi

Now we’re getting a little further up the chain with this guy, but as we all know Lovense is my one true love of the sex toy word. Ambi is shaped like a T, with a little handle for you to hold (good bye numb fingers and hand cramps), one end of the top is the standard bullet shaped while the other sports a pointed tip for pin point vibrations and leg shaking orgasms. As with all Lovense toys Ambi here connects to an app on your phone, so whether you’re spending Christmas with your person or not, the connection will still be there and you can have your very own version of holiday sex thanks to the internet!

Now we’ve got the option of toys that you can use together.

We-Vibe’s Chorus

This toy is a crowd favourite, with it’s bendable shape making it perfectly fit to the contours of your body, it’s ability to be used during sex and on it’s own get it’s very far. My favourite part is how versatile it is though, if you’re not a fan of using it during sex that’s totally normal, you can wrap it in your hand for handjobs, it can be placed under the chin to turn your tongue into a vibrator, and of course you can use it as (what I like to call) Sexy Clicker Training, where one party wears the Chorus internally while they give the other head. The  one receiving the head controls the squeeze remote and squeezes when they get a sensation they like!

Okay that’s enough toys… For now. Onto the little things.
You want to try a little more, you’re thinking fluffy cuffs. I think otherwise.

Scandal

I’ve done a whole blog about this so I’ll keep it brief, but the intricate red design contrasted on the black is amazing, the softness of the inside of their cuffs, collars, everything. I’m really anal (pun intended) about all my things matching to a degree and the fact that their whole range sports the same patterns and colours just itches my brain in the right way.

Blindfolds
This is a good and pretty inexpensive way to spice things up, taking vision away from someone is an awesome form of sensory play, I’m sure we’re all aware that taking a sense away heightens the others, blindfolding during sex is no different. Taking sight away means running a feather across the body is going to feel 10x more exciting.

Massage Oils
I don’t need to say much on this, who doesn’t love a massage? Buying any of the oils in the Wildfire range will get you ready to go, they’re not overpowering but they still smell great and include aphrodisiacs, need I say more?

Bed Restraints
What could possible be better than having your partner tied to the beg and waiting. It’s so sexy when they’re not able to use their hands and can only use their words. By the way, it’s a good idea to have a safe word for this, I know it’s nothing too crazy but when trying out new things you never know what that person is going to feel.

Ball gags
You can get breathable ones for the beginners, you can get elastic straps, buckles, chewable silicone balls, hard plastics, everything to suit everyone, they’re a fun little step into bondage.

Paddles
These are a good replacement for your hand, regular round paddles are fun for an even dispersion of the hit, spit tip crops are awesome for getting the perfect smacking sound, and then regular floggers are super good for getting a lot of little hits in one go.

There’s more but we’d be here forever, whatever it is you get your people for Christmas I’m sure they’d love it, and coming in to see your friendly experts at Oh Zone will guarantee a Very Kinky Christmas.

Oh Zone Penrith

adult shopping

Hi, I came into Ohzone Penrith the other day and wanted to write a review as the service I received and the product range was an absolute delight. I have been to the store once but that was many, many years ago now and it has changed vastly.

I was sent to the store by my wife, as she was too embarrassed to come in, I tried my hardest to get her to come but unfortunately it was a no go. She didn’t have an exact idea of what she wanted but we have quite a few toys so I knew the style that she enjoys. It’s always hard to buy for someone else but due to the incredibly helpful staff it was an absolute breeze for me. As soon as I walked through the door I was greeted and as I hadn’t been in the store before the woman gave me a tour of the sections and all the products they had.

I explained to the staff the types of toys and styles that my wife enjoys and the woman was able to pick out quite a few toys that she thought would be a good fit, we both put gloves on and had a fiddle around with all the toys and I’m glad I did as we’ve previously only purchased our toys online and some of them weren’t as powerful as we were expecting, so to be able to feel the vibrations in my hand whilst an extremely knowledgeable staff member talked me through all the different functions and different ways to use the toys as well as the different types of lubes that would help enhance pleasure was very helpful and I knew I would be able to bring home a toy that was perfect for my wife due to all the help I received.

The store itself is very clean and tidy, all of the products are organised in sections and it is very easy to find anything you’re after (especially when you’re given the store tour), there is such a wide range of products the only problem was trying to choose what I wanted. I parked out the front along high street but that was pure luck as someone was pulling out just as I was driving to go to the stores rear parking.

I quickly found out Zippay was available in the store which made me want to purchase a toy for myself as well, again the woman was extremely helpful and showed me all sorts of male toys. I was most interested in the strokers as I had never really had one before, I brought a few up to the front counter to see which one was best in the her opinion. We went through the ones I brought up however she also showed me a vibrating stroker that was up behind the counter and walked me through the functions and motors and after holding it for myself I was sold as it was an incredible product and I was so happy that I had her help otherwise I wouldn’t of known and just got one I thought looked nice but wasn’t of the same caliber.

All in all my experience was wonderful and I’ll definitely be back for more and my wife will be forced to come with me next time so she can have the same experience as I did and see for herself that there is no need to be embarrassed as the staff are extremely professional and very helpful.

There Is Nothing Wrong With Me!

I think it’s time for people to start feeling confident enough to start opening up more about there sexual needs, fantasies and experiences. The more people that talk about it the more relaxed and comfortable everyone out there will start to feel. This story is about my history with not knowing what or how to go about getting help in the sex department.

I’m a women that has struggled over the years to try to pleasure myself successfully. With many fails and having no clue were to even begin, it started to put me off even trying to figure it out. Started to feel like a jig saw puzzle with so many pieces missing. I always felt something was wrong with me, my body must not be working right, maybe I was born weird and not normal or even started to feel a little scared or embarrassed about doing it in general like I was judging myself for wanting that pleasure.

I tired to open up to my friends group when we used to discuss things about there sex lives. They all seemed to know exactly how to satisfy themselves and it used to make me worry even more that something was definitely wrong with me. That I was programmed totally different. Don’t get me wrong I always had the feeling a lot of my friends weren’t being honest about there experiences and trying to hide the fact they couldn’t satisfy themselves either, probably with feeling the way I always did and not having the courage to be truthful about it.

My parents have always brought me up to be open and honest about everything but when it comes to sex you always try to give them some respect on this subject and not get into too much detail as you feel it’s not something they feel comfortable talking about with there child. Not feeling I could talk to many people about this subject and then be truthfully honest I started to google up information and do a bit of research.

Online only explains to you in a reboot basic way which never helped me personally and it’s not like you get much feed back on if your doing it correct. By pure luck I discovered the oh zone shops and went in for a stroll. Looking at reviews the shop and staff were highly recommended and I thought to myself what’s the harm in trying it out. Like a bit of a nerve reck I took a wee visit down to shop. I explained my situation to a staff member and straight away they were taking me to what section they could recommend for me.

The staff advice was so helpful and they made me feel so relaxed and at ease from start to finish which was great to calm the nerves. Never once did I feel judged or ashamed of what I was asking about or struggling to do for that matter. They steered me down the right path of different toys that would suit my needs and also what was going to be in my price range. It’s very intimidating and confusing when you first walk in as the selection they have there is so large – and being a novice I did not even know where to start. In saying that it’s amazing to have so much choice and variety. The shop definitely provides for every need and if something is not in stock in the store they are so helpful in trying to order items in for you.

The best lessons I was taught was that every person is different and most do struggle to find there right spots straight away but it’s all about practicing and getting to know your own body, experiment around and listen to what my body is saying it likes. Well that first night I went home with my goodies and put all there intel to the test. After about 10 minutes off fiddling around and trying to relax I finally started to feel something different (a feeling I had never experienced before). Let’s just say “OH MY GOD” is the best words to describe it.

Finally that amazing, intense feeling that everyone goes on about, I had just got to feel it for the first time. The only way I can explain it is just pure bliss, satisfaction and release. It’s like my body had just exploded with excited, stitches and butterflies. I had finally felt my first orgasm and it was bloody worth the wait. It was exactly how I was told it would feel when I eventually got the right spot. Safe to say I practiced more and more that night. It felt like such an accomplishment, I didn’t know I could have ever felt so empowered in my own body and had managed to make myself feel like that all on my own. You don’t realize how much pressure you put on yourself because you feel like you have been failing so bad before. Sometimes you just need a little help to guide you down the right path and I thank the staff at oh zone for doing that with me.

I have now become a regular customer and still each time  I visit there so happy and pleasant to help me on what to try next. Never once do they push me into something that doesn’t feel right for me. Some wise words I was told by one of the staff members and these words fit perfectly right now.

“It’s not what you know, it’s who you know”

and that shop consultants definitely know there stuff and I have got to know most of them!

After shopping in this store now for a couple of years I have been given an amazing opportunity to working in one of their stores. It’s now my time to advise and teach other people that are in the situation I used to be in. My advice is stick with the lovely oh zone team who are always going to steer you in the right direction. They will always make sure your going home with a smile and a very enjoyable night!

Pop in and see me at the adult lifestyle centers if you have had a similar problem to mine.  Trust me – there is nothing wrong with you!

Why You Really Need A Dildo

Sex Toy Guide Blog

Sex should be enjoyable, fun, creative, versatile and mind blowing. So, instead of relying on traditional sex, expand your horizons by exploring your body with a sex toy like a dildo. This article will go into depth about everything you have ever needed to know about dildos.

Where does the word dildo originate?

The beginnings of the word dildo is quite baffling. Interestingly enough, the dildo is widely recognized to have originated from the word diletto which is an Italian word for:

“a lady’s pleasure”

When were dildos first invented?

Dildos were one of the first sex toys types created. They were found as far back as 29, 000 BC in Hohle Fels Cave near Ulm in Germany. As science and technology has advanced over the years, almost every kind of adult lifestyle product that we use has been improved in some way but the humble Dildo has remained one of the most effective and reliable sex toys available.

What is a dildo?

A dildo is a type of sex toy with a phallic or non-phallic shape that is used to provide pleasurable stimulation to women and men. Dildos come in a large range of different shapes, colours, textures, sizes and materials. They range in sizes from as tiny as a finger to much larger than a human’s fist! The large range ensures that the fetishes and fantasies of a wide consumer preference is catered for.

Who can use a dildo?

There is nothing wrong with dildo play, dildos have been used for thousands of years by women and men of all sexualities. However, men can only use a dildo for anal play if it is made with a base.

What erogenous zones does the dildo stimulate?

A dildo can provide pleasure to a woman’s g-spot and a-spot, it can also provide pleasure to a man’s p-spot. Since dildos are made with varied shapes and sizes, they can reach spots that the average penis cannot which can give you an unbelievable pleasurable experience. Dildos can be used during mutual masturbation and foreplay to massage along different parts of the body including the clitoris, penis and scrotum.

Strap-on and harness compatible dildos can be worn around the waist and used on a lover for a penetrative experience. There are also dual ended dildos that can be used to pleasure the vagina and anus at the same time, some of them can be used by two people at the same time in a “see-saw” movement.

What materials are dildos made with?

Dildos can be made with an assortment of materials like silicone, surgical steel, glass, stone, wood, ABS hard plastic, TPE, TPR, genuine feel rubber and jelly. Unlike men, these sex toys always stay as hard as the material that they are made from. All these different kinds of materials have their own advantages and disadvantages. The best dildo material for you will depend on your own individual preferences. Sometimes it can take a bit of experimentation to find out what you really like.

Companies like Doc Johnson and Tantus have made dildo’s that have dual density layers which provide the feeling of realistic sex. Dildos with dual layers often have a hard inner layer of silicone and a soft outer layer of silicone. They are said to feel absolutely amazing especially when paired with a sex toys unique design and textures.

You can also find companies like BS Atelier in Madrid, LAID from Norway and Fun Factory in Germany who make their products from body safe and non-porous materials like pure silicone, glass and metal. To top that off, Fun Factory sex toys are made with even more functions including rolling massage balls.

Are dildos made with body safe materials?

When dildos were originally produced they were made with rubber and jelly that contained phthalates which are toxic to the body. Phthalates is a type of chemical used to make hard material soft, clear and flexible. With the knowledge that these materials were made with harsh chemicals, most adult lifestyle companies decided to only use materials that are body safe. But you will need to check whether the product you are planning on purchasing is body safe.

Are dildos safe?

Yes, dildos are definitely safe to use. There is no medical evidence to prove that dildos are harmful or have serious side effects to a person. The only thing we can guarantee you though, is that you will be addicted to them. The amount of pleasure obtained from these gadgets is unimaginable.

Why do some people like phallic dildos and some people like non-phallic dildos?

Some people love using a phallic dildos to replicate the feeling of realistic sex with a man whereas some people love the pleasurable stimulation of the ergonomic design of a non-phallic dildo that can be used for pinpoint stimulation.

Why are dildos not classified as a vibrator?

Dildos are generally used through the manual movement of a person’s hand, body or waist. They are not made with electrical features like added vibrations or pulsations which are features that are found in vibrators.

What are suction cups and harnesses used for on a dildo?

The main two features which are sort after when purchasing a dildo is whether it has a strong suction cup or whether it is harness compatible. A suction cup allows a person to use the sex toy for hands free stimulation, as it can be attached to a hard surface like tiles or inside a bathtub so that a person can use it as if it were a real erect penis. Whilst a dildo which is made to be compatible with a harness normally has a flat base which can be placed securely into a harness. A dildo with a harness allows a lover to wear it around their waist so that they are able to use it as if it were a part of their body for penetrative stimulation.

Where can I buy dildos?

Dildos can be bought by or for a person who loves the feeling of penetrative sex. If you are shy and a reserved person walking in to a sex shop and looking for a dildo can be a hard task. We would recommend you purchase a dildo at a sex toy shop online. This is the best option if you want a bit of privacy.

If you are buying a dildo made from a silicone mix it is advised that you go into an physical sex toy store so you can see whether the material has any manufacturing defaults like bubbles within the material.

How do you use a dildo?

Dildos actually do not come with instructions. The designers of these sex toys naturally assume that everyone understands how to be able use a dildo properly. But for first timers, it can be quite difficult especially if you do not know what to do! Here you will find some steps that you can follow to make your first time experience enjoyable:

Be prepared

The first thing you should do when using a dildo is be prepared so that you will be able to enjoy the experience. To do this you will need to:

  • Have your room set up so that you are comfortable.
  • Ensure the dildos you are using is clean.
  • Ensure that the dildo and personal lubricant is in an easy to access location.

Lubricate

If you are a woman you may need to use additional lubricant since they may not be able to produce enough natural lubrication for the experience. It is recommended to invest in a sex toy friendly lubricant like water-based lubricant.

If you are a man you will need to use lubricant as the anus does not produce natural lubrication. The anus will also soak up most of the lubricant so you will need to use plenty and relubricate well before it dries out. It is recommended that men invest in an anal lubricant that is specially made.

Relax

But you can’t just force the dildo in! You have to start somewhere and start slowly. Just like sex with a partner, your body should be ready and relaxed. Using a dildo is about experiencing a personal type of pleasure that is controlled by the user. Burn some aromatic candles, put some mood music on, lie back and relax. You can begin by naturally arousing yourself through masturbating or engaging in foreplay with a lover. When you are ready it will slide in gently almost on its own.

Slow and steady wins the race

Slowly slip a dildo inside, leave the dildo there for a moment and feel it gently stretch your body. When you are ready, control the speed and depth of the thrust to start off slowly and gradually increase it according to the amount of pleasure that you would like to experience. You will need to experiment to find what works for you.

Clean up afterwards

Sex toys need to be taken cleaned and taken care of.  It is recommended to use some antibacterial sex toy cleaner, mild soap and warm water to clean your dildo. Dry it thoroughly and store it in a dark place.

Now it is that easy so what are you waiting for?Save
