Features a design to create a favoured position in BDSM. This particular set up features several peices from the hook, D ring with straps, two cuffs with a handle and your adjustable buckle. This particular set up is not in any way shape or form, geared for suspension and to do so can create severe safety risks. This piece is connected to a ceiling, or a high beam and is designed to keep the body in a stretched position, standing upwards with the arms skywards. It's often referred to as the Pit of Doom or offering position and stems from old films whereby a damsel in distress would be hanging over something such as a pit of snakes, or a vat of acid or some other nasty thing. In its revised form, it's not usually recommended for suspension as it places too much pressure on the wrists. For suspension there needs to be some weight taken off either via the waist, or the thighs. It's not a comfortable position, especially if you decide it needs to be high enough that they need to stand slightly on their toes. This position is also commonly used with rope and a shibari hook, or bolted directly into a ceiling beam or something similar. The sportsheets version also has a small little bar across the cuffs, to help maintain balance and to give the hands something to focus on. The cuffs on this are made from a neoprene and are super soft and comfortable. It can almost be considered the equivalent of camping and glamping. This position piece is only to be considered a means to an end. It's a piece that does exceptionally well when comboed with other pieces. What is often used is an ankle spreader bar forcing the legs apart. From there one is only limited by their imagination in terms of the things they can do to the helpless victim. From electrotherapy, to whipping, to flogging, to attaching a hitachi wand to their thighs of a myriad of other delightful forms of punishment. As you can see, by itself, this little gem doesn't serve tat much purpose, but when you immobilise a person, keep their arms out of the way, you can pretty much do whatever tortorous thing you want to.
