The PA bar doesn't fully screw in to the tube, creating a small gap that is a potential skin snagger. However the damage came from the top end (the bit that gets inserted first) as the inside opening was sharp. Didn't notice it until after the money shot when blood clots were clogging the tube. The steel tube is too thin in thickness and the internal edges need to be filed and polished smooth. The PA bar could be at least twice as thick, i.e. 6g as reputable piercers wouldn't use anything thinner for a PA due to the cheese-cutter effect. The length was a good fit, but overall the whole thing could be thicker gauge - after-all, thin gauge PA wearers would hardly be into sounding until they've upsized their PA gauge.
