I honestly like the Petite much more than the original.  Personally I prefer a vibrator that isn’t a massive effort to keep a hold of.  I find the bigger wands always need two hands for better control and I am not about that life.

• Shower proof for your shower time fun. But they do not say anything about it being fully submersible so I would not try using it in a bath tub unfortunately.

Unboxing Le Wand

Let me just start with the actual box itself before getting to what is inside of it.

When a company puts a lot of effort into their packaging like this one does you have to acknowledge it!  All of the basics that you need to know about the toy is written for you on the sides of the box.  When looking at our wand wall their products stand out from the rest.  That is because they have put in those extra miles to make their products unique.

Inside your box, you will find your Le Wand and its charging cord.

Le Wand does not supply a wall dock.  But you should make sure to always use one when charging rather than using a computer. You will also find a beginners guide and a manual for your toy.  I always recommend having a read of while you’re waiting for it to charge up for the first time.

It is a good thing to know all about your toys so that you get the best experience with it and know everything it has to offer. Last but not least the company also supplies a nice little carry pouch for you to store your wand in when not in use.

Charging 

Yes, this is not a corded wand like most others on the market. Unfortunately, this does mean that the toy will need a break between charges as it will not work whilst being plugged in.  But I think this can be a good thing because toys do need a wresting time so that you don’t end up blowing the internal motors.

There aren’t any cords getting in the way during play though, so I think this is a massive positive!

Your Le Wand needs approximately 2 hours of charging for a full charge.  It can last up to 1 hour in play depending on the settings that you are using. When charging the lights with flash and when complete the lights will go to a still.

If you are using your wand and the lights start rapidly flashing this means your toy is telling you that it needs to be charged.

Review of the Coco de Mer Emmeline Pleasure Wand

I was excited to receive the Emmeline Pleasure Wand from our good friends at Lovehoney.  It came in a discreet package which is great for anyone that does not want anyone to know what they are receiving.

Unwrapping it, I found that the outer display box is a beautiful cocoa color. It looks classy, robust and feels smooth to the touch.  Immediately, I thought that it was something a bit above the ordinary as it was oozing with luxury.

On opening the box and sliding out the inner compartment, a Victorian portrait of an attractive lady is seen who I imagine is Emmeline.  In the inner box there is an instruction manual that is in the form of a small “pocket book” that’s 72 pages long.

The instructions are comprehensive and come in multiple languages.  There is also a USB recharging cable and an adorable cocoa colored storage case that is either made with leather or faux leather.  When looking from above it is oval shaped and there is a zipper on the side to open it.

Unzipping it the wand was easily accessible.  Once removed, I noticed that the inner compartment of this storage case is lined with a ‘silk’ like material that has a nice print.  It is an aesthetically pleasing and functional case.  The wand is also a luxurious cocoa color and it felt as soft as silk when I ran my fingers along the beautiful silicone.

There is a gold metallic band separating the base from the tip and at the base there are three push button controls.  Shaft is rigid and straight but is tapered slim in the middle of the top portion and then it has a bulbous tip.

Luxury G-Spot or P-Spot Stimulation 

This bulbous tip is for G-spot (or P-spot) stimulation and being non-flexible would be suited as much, if not more for men than women.

Although it does work amazingly as a G-spot vibrator to stimulate a woman. The total length of the wand is 18.4 cm -7.25 inches with an insertable length of 13.4 cm – 5.25 inches.  Circumference at its widest point is 12.1 cm – 4.75 inches so it is not the widest or longest wand I have seen but it is certainly sufficient.

Charging the Emmeline was a little different to normal.

There is no external charging port – to charge one has to unscrew the base from the top.  When the two parts are separated, you will find a charging port on the base.  I plugged it into my laptop but any USB port will do the trick.  When charging a LED light underneath the three controls flashes and when fully charged it stops.  The first charge took about 1.5 hours to complete and I removed the cable and screwed the top half and bottom half together.

The Emmeline when properly screwed together is 100% submersible making it fully waterproof.

Controls of the wand are operated as follows 

• Top “+” button. Use this button to increase the vibration speed.
• Middle “-” button.  Use this button to decrease the vibration speed.
• Lowest button.  This button is the on and off switch. To turn it on or off keep this button depressed for about 3 seconds.  To change the vibration mode press this button quickly.

Turning on the Emmeline Pleasure Wand

When I turned it on, I found that the motor was not whisper quiet. But it is certainly less noisy than many other popular brands. Vibrations were nice but there was no toe curling powerful ones. They were deep and rumbly just the way I like them.

Time to Test it Out!!

This was my first ever Coco de Mer toy and from reading previous reviews I was excited to try the Emmeline. We didn’t use the Emmeline internally, although you can it’s a bit too girthy for my liking. My partner and I used this like any other wand.

We a have few wands now, both rechargeable and mains powered. We think the Emmeline is the most powerful of all our rechargeable wands. She’s also the lightest so you don’t get an uncomfortable wrist after a period of time.

She has an impressive range of vibration intensities and patterns. The vibrations are quite rumbly and surprisingly powerful for something of this size. You can start off slow and work your way up to an orgasm, or turn her up and you’ll hit orgasmville quickly!

The packaging as you can probably tell from the images is absolutely divine. The high-quality leather storage bag is fantastic. Of course you would expect something special for the price of the wand and it certainly delivers.

So once fully charged I couldn’t resist but turn it on and cycle through the various speeds and patterns. I was really concerned by how it struggled to get going when I was turning it on but it would get there after 20 seconds or so and took to the forums to see if this was a common issue. It wasn’t. I gave it a bit of time as it sounded like the motor. After running the motor and the wand through its various speeds and turning it on and off for 15 minutes it sorted the problem out. The power is lovely and powerful but if you think this will match up to a mains powered wand in that department you would be disappointed.

Using for clit stimulation it works really well, but where it really does its business is using it internally. The stiff body and silky soft silicone are simply orgasmic. It will hit my G-spot vibe and turning those vibrations up had me clenching the bed covers.

Its only downside for me comes with the patterns, I love a pulsing pattern which this has but it is in conjunction with a constant buzz and you just don’t get the same effect. It’s the only negative I can honestly give.
