Prolong For Better Sex – Get A Smiling Dick!

Premature ejaculation slogan

There are hundreds if not thousands of premature ejaculation (PE) devices, sprays and potions available on the web and in adult shops claiming that they can delay orgasm and prevent PE in men.  How many of them can actually say that the results are proven by independent clinical studies? Or that they are an approved medical device with the FDA and TGA! Well now there is such a device that was launched globally at the beginning of May this year.

It is a fact that 88% of men surveyed indicated that they would love to have more control over how long they could last during sex, which means it is a universal solution for men, and not only the one in four that suffer with PE. What is even better about this program is that there are no drugs or herbal remedies to take. There are no side-effects. It is a pain free solution with long lasting results requiring no prescription or referrals. It is a totally natural method for training the penis using a ‘stop-start’ technique.

When Prolong is used according to the training program it will increase the times between arousal and ejaculation by taking advantage of the vibrating and stimulating effects of the patented device.  With an investment of just 6 weeks, following the Climax Control Training Program men will be able to last 3 to 8 minutes longer.

Who backs the Prolong Climax Control Training Program?

These are not just pie in the sky claims, they are backed up by The Journal of Sex And Marital Therapy (2013), Independent Clinical Trial (UK 2013) Start-Stop Technique and the Independent Study Department of Psychology and Logopedics (Finland 2013).

Many media outlets have published articles backing this amazing device including premature ejaculation by news.com.au, Prolong gadget by daily mail uk,  innovaDerma sex claim by the australian financial review and penis climax control by GQ magazine.  Hard print coverage of Prolong will be coming out in GQ, Men’s Health and Cosmopolitan magazines.

So what is the Prolong Device?

The Prolong Device is a male climax control penis pad with a 3 volt battery powered vibrator that is ergonomically shaped to cover the ‘sensitive trigger zone’ of your penis.  After years of scientific studies and independent research, the device has been developed into an approved medical device that will delay the male orgasm by using the proven ‘start-stop’ method.  It is white in color with ridges that are used to tame your sexual timing.

My test and review of the Prolong Climax Control Training Program

So after waiting just one day of being contacted by our great friends at InnovaDerma to do a product review the product arrived in a plain discreet cardboard box.  The box was filled with plastic air bubble packing to ensure that the product or box was not be damaged during shipment. I opened the attractive black packaging to find the Prolong device and personal lubricant enclosed.  An A4 instruction manual was included that had an easy to read description of the item, an introduction, instructions, warnings and technical specifications.

The actual device is made from medical grade silicone and is a sterile and clean white.  It measures roughly 4 cm in width and 5 cm in height with a power switch on the side that simply slides across to switch the motor on or off. There is one speed only and the motor is removable for when cleaning under water. It is powered by 2 x 625A batteries like the ones used in cameras. When I turned the motor on I found that the vibrations are strong but not overly so.

After reading the instructions I was really pleasantly surprised that over the training period it is suggested that it be used no more than 3 times a week. Most of these supposed training methods whether they are for penis enlargement or delaying ejaculation ask fo you to do it once a day, sometimes even twice a day. 3 times a day over 6 weeks equates to only 18 days in 42 which is more than manageable.

Unfortunately for this review I wrote this prior to the 6 week expiration date. However, after achieving an erection by masturbation I took the device out and I found it comfortable to hold with one hand, I applied the lubricant generously to it and under the head of my penis.  Then I switched it on and placed it just below the underside of the head of my penis. As the device is pliable I began to constrict and release the pressure of the device with the vibrations that caused an intensely pleasurable sensation.

Continuing this for a few minutes I felt like I was about to cum so I removed it from my penis and waited for the sensation of ejaculation to subside and then replaced the device again to under the head of my penis.  I repeated this a number of times. This is the ‘stop-start’ technique as explained in the instructions. After four times of doing this I allowed myself to ejaculate. It felt bigger and harder than a normal orgasm and I guess that is because of the orgasm denial that I had experienced.

The device is really simple to clean up and I only sprayed it with toy cleaner and put it away.  I would imagine after a few uses you would need to fully wash it in warm water – but since that requires the removal of the motor (and probably batteries – the instructions were not to clear on that) it would not be something that I will do every time.  Antibacterial toy cleaner will suffice for most uses.

There is no reason to doubt the validity that this device and training technique works as it is fully legitimized not only by the independent studies but by the fact that it is classed as a medical device by the FDA and TGA.  Those stringent government bodies make applicants run through hoops to get approvals.

Will Prolong be a popular device?

You bet! In recent surveys by Censuswide (21-23/3/18, polling 2,026 males and 2,003 females in Australia and the US) more than 77% of the people surveyed want a man to be able to control or lengthen how long it takes to orgasm during sex. Add this to the fact that it has zero side effects from use, it’s the first medically approved solution to premature ejaculation with guaranteed real results that are delivered in short and a realistic time frame and improves sexual satisfaction for men and their partners, why would it not be a product in demand?

The Prolong Device will be available through the Smiling Dick website at AUD $299.00 and for a limited time with free shipping.

A Fun Cup For Your Fun Factory

Fun Factory Fun Cup celebration

Exactly two years ago to the month (insert X-Files theme song), Adultsmart published an article on vaginal odours and menstrual cups. The article I wrote began with this bold statement:

“If you have a vagina, or you know someone who has a vagina, you/your friend with a vagina, NEEDS a menstrual cup. Or, let me start with a less bold statement – you/your friend with a vagina needs to consider not using tampons”.

It’s been two years and by God I stand by my proclamation.

When I first got my period, I jumped straight to using tampons for convenience. My mum used them and she said that they were easy, comfortable, you could swim with them in and basically everybody uses them. For years I suffered from extreme discomfort during menstruation with severe vaginal itchiness, dryness and hotness. As I got older, things got worse and it became impossible for me to self-lubricate during sex. My vagina was a hot mess, literally, and it took me years to piece together that tampons were the problem.

When you Google “side effects of using tampons” a number of alarming words and sentiments are scattered through the results page, such as; severe irritation, made with harsh chemicals, increases risk in serious diseases, linked to cancer, can cause vaginal infections and so on. It makes me question, why are tampons so highly recommended over other menstrual products with ZERO side effects, which have better consequences for the environment?

What if I told you that you could buy just ONE product to use while on your period, that you would not have to replace for years to come.

Cue, the menstrual cup.

Menstrual cups have been around for 80 odd years, but the truth of their excellence has been lost in the current throw-away society, which has consumers purchasing one use items that are designed to be used once and then tossed away. Menstrual cups are a small, typically flexible silicone cup, that fits up inside the vagina to catch menstrual blood and are designed to be reused for many years.

Benefits of using menstrual cups

  • ZERO discomfort or vaginal irritation during use (if made from high quality medical grade silicone)
  • Can be worn safely for up to 12 hours
  • They cost less than tampons in the long run: one cup can cost you anywhere between $30-$60 (depending on the brand) and can last you up to ten years. The cost of tampons could be broken down to (based on my menstrual… abilities?) = 1 tampon every 4-5 hours x 4 tampons per day x around 7 days of a menstrual period, equals around 28 tampons per cycle. Times 28 tampons by the average amount of menstrual periods in a lifetime (456 periods), that equals 12,768 tampons. At around 32 tampons per box, that’s 399 boxes of tampons. Times that by the average fee of a box of tampons, which is around AUD$8.00, that’s $3,192 in just one person’s life time. JUST ON TAMPONS.
  • They don’t end up in landfill or in our oceans
  • Little to no odour as the menstrual blood is not exposed to oxygen due to the suction of the menstrual cup on the vaginal walls
  • Sexual intercourse is possible, and less messy
  • Great for people who define themselves as non-binary
  • Perfect for travel
  • Easy to use

There’re many menstrual cup companies which are available to use around the world. I started with Australian made and owned ‘JuJu Cup’, which was great, until I tried the Fun Factory Fun Cup. It’s no secret that I love Fun Factory. I have written many a review on Fun Factory’s expertise and capabilities in sex toy manufacturing, but I was genuinely impressed to see them take on the task of creating a cutting-edge menstrual cup. And they’ve done it.

Watch this short promotional video to see the cups in use! Not literally, get your head outta’ the gutter!

The Fun Cup comes in two sizes. Genius. Not every vagina is the same size or bleeds the same amount of blood, duh. So Fun Factory have created the ‘A’ cup and the ‘B’ cup.

Fun Factory Fun Cup
Image: Fun Factory Fun Cup Sizes

The A cup is smaller in size and holds 20ml of blood while the B cup is larger and can hold up to 30ml of blood. Fun Factory recommends the A cup for people with a lighter flow, or for people who haven’t given birth, while the B cup would suit a heavier flow and for people who have given birth. I know what you’re thinking… What if I buy the A cup but it’s not suited to my flow or is the wrong size ergonomically for my body? Well that’s the genius thing. Fun Factory has created three options: The A + A kit, where you get two A cups, the B + B kit, two B cups, and the Explore kit, where you can get one of each cup size. GENIUS.

I happily use the A cup as my cup of choice during menstruation. I was hoping to be able to use the B cup, as I do have a heavier flow, though the size wasn’t quite right for my body (okay Fun Factory, you were right). But that’s the great thing about the size kit – you know 100% when buying it that one of those cups will fit your body and work best for your period. For me, on a bad first day, I can wear the A cup for around 4 hours before needing to empty it. But from usually the second day onwards, I can go all day or all night before needing to change my cup. I wake up in the morning, empty the cup, rinse, put it back in and can leave it until I go to bed. Care free. ALL DAY.

Fun Factory’s Fun Cups are made with the same non-porous, hypoallergenic, medical-grade silicone that Fun Factory uses for their sex toys. You can totally tell when you hold the cups in your hands that they’re made from top quality materials. They’re flexible, but sturdy enough to bend and pop back into shape in your vagina.

To insert, you bend the cup into different shapes to easily insert it into your vagina, though the three most popular folds are shown in the below image. The more you play around with your Fun Cup, the quicker you’ll realise what method is easiest for you to quickly and seamlessly insert your cup. I personally prefer the C-fold.

Once you’ve inserted your cup as far as you can comfortably insert it, for it to be correctly inserted you should be able to feel when you run your fingers around the base of the cup that the cup is popped out all the way and suctioned completely to the walls of your vagina. If there are some folds or the cup hasn’t quite popped out right, you can fix it by using the sturdy base of the cup to twist and shuffle the cup around to encourage it to pop out.

What’s great about the Fun Cup is that the bottom of the cup is made from hard, firm silicone which is easy to hold onto inside your vagina to twist the cup into place or to use it to remove the cup. My JuJu cup had a long string-like piece of silicone, similar to the image above but thinner, which when you pulled would stretch out like an elastic band. Once, in the early days when I was trying to remove my cup, I pulled the silicone string and it stretched out and then flicked back up into my vagina like a cruel, unforgiving slingshot. Thankfully, the Fun Cup’s solid base does not stretch out and is a great base to hold onto to remove the cup. It also stops before turning into the flexible cup so there is no accidental grabbing of the cup leading to over-spilling when trying to remove it.

Tips and tricks to securing your Fun Cup

  • Lubricate the circular rim of the cup and it will slide straight in and pop into shape perfect, first go
  • Pinch from the bottom of the cup when inserting the cup so that you can propel it into your vagina and allow it to pop into shape without your fingers being in the way
  • Twist and shuffle into place, rather than removing the cup and re-inserting
  • According to Fun Factory, the fun cup A holds FOUR TIMES the amount of blood a tampon does, allowing for the coolest thing (in my opinion), which is being able to easily measure how much you bleed in an average cycle and what the average consistency and colour of your menstrual blood is; which is actually pretty useful information if you ever need to see a doctor about suspected menstrual abnormalities.

Once you want to empty your menstrual cup, you squeeze and pull from that little anchor point at the bottom and pull the cup out. You can pour the blood into the toilet bowl, or ceremoniously dump it if that’s more your style, and then flush it away. All you need to do to keep your cup clean while on your period, rinse with water or wipe with toilet paper before re-inserting.

Once your period has finished, it’s highly recommended that you boil your cup in water to correctly clean it. In the Fun Factory video, it shows you somebody doing this over the stove in a pot… I’m super lazy, or super-efficient depending how you look at it, and have a dedicated ‘period cup’ which I pour boiling water into from the kettle and let the cup sit in that for around 2-3 minutes before storing it in the antimicrobial bag that comes with the Fun Cup’s. The antimicrobial bag means that you can keep the cup on you at all times in a safe and clean bag, ensuring the cup is ready to be used whenever you need it.

One of my FAVOURITE features of the Fun Cup is that it’s opaque (non-transparent). My JuJu cup is made from a see-through silicone, which after two years is looking a bit… grotesque. The colour is now a sort of dull-yellow, whilst cleaned correctly after every period, the stains still remain. My Fun Cup appears to have never been used, even when I pull it straight out of my vagina. The blood seems to not adhere to the silicone, somehow, like those sprays you use to keep your new shoes clean, when rinsed the blood comes straight off.

On top of being better for your body and better for the environment, Fun Factory also markets the Fun Cup as being a great product for anybody who menstruates, not just cis-gendered women. The Fun Cup’s packaging is non-gendered, and the colours of the cups are also androgynous. But not only that, the Fun Cup allows menstruators to live with their period in an easi-ER fashion.

Making the switch from tampons to a menstrual cup like the Fun Cup, could save 12,768 of your tampons from going into the ocean or into land fill. When you think about how many people globally are menstruating, that’s a lot of tampons, and your small switch to a Fun Cup, can make a big difference to the environment. Overall, I was super happy with the design and ergonomics of the Fun Cup and had no troubles in using the A cup. Whilst I did try to conquer the B cup, the B cup conquered me, granted, it is recommended for use in people who have had children. The Fun Cup is easy to insert, easy to remove and easy to clean and I can say that I have more than happily made the switch from my beloved first menstrual cup. The only downside of a Fun Cup, is that it makes you one of those annoying friends who constantly tries to force their friends and family into purchasing one also.

The ONLY FDA Compliant Eutectic Male Delay Spray!

There are so many delay sprays in the marketplace receiving another one was just a bit of ho-hum for me… BUT… PROMESCENT was different.  9 out 10 delay sprays or creams are made with the active ingredient lidocaine, which is basically a numbing agent.  So you spray it onto the penis and hey presto, after about 5 to 10 minutes the penis goes numb. This is great but seeing that your penis goes numb it also effects the stimulation it will receive. So less stimulation equals a delay in ejaculation.  You do not have to be a rocket scientist to work that one out which is why there are so many around.

Win Promescent
Image: Promescent standard metered-dose bottle

PROMESCENT is different.  Let me explain to you why. It was created by respected urologist and creator Robert Gilbert MD, from top to bottom.   It is now recommended by thousands of urologists across the USA.

Gilbert death was a case of mistaken identity. He was shot 10 times in January of 2013. The man in question pled not guilty for reasons of insanity but received life imprisonment in September 2017.

In 2014, Abraham was offered over $30 million USD to sell the company and turn the product into a prescription only drug. Jeff promised Ron’s family to make this a global brand, stating:

“This product needs to be on the shelf at every Walgreens, CVS, and 7-Eleven right next to the condoms. This is a lifestyle product.”

It is the first, and get this ONLY FDA COMPLIANT EUTECTIC TREATMENT FOR PREMATURE EJACULATION!!!!!

FDA approved delay spray

Are you getting excited????  Well trust me you are not going to blow your load after reading this review.

So getting back to the product. Promescent is a treatment for premature ejaculation (PE) and basically means that you cum pretty much straight after sexual stimulation.  The causes of PE are many and it effects an estimated 30% or all men at some time in their lives.

Common types of premature ejaculation

The most common types of PE are:

Lifelong Premature Ejaculation

Obviously, this means that the ailment has been present from the first time sexual stimulation was experienced.  It will occur during most if not all encounters and the typical time before ejaculation is experienced in one minute or less.

Acquired Premature Ejaculation

As a result of ‘poor’ sexual experiences the ailment occurs later in life.  Again, it covers most if not all sexual activities and the average time before ejaculation is three minutes or less.

Variable Premature Ejaculation

Some sexual encounters you have regular sex and ejaculation and other times you suffer from PE.

Subjective Premature Ejaculation

Disappointment with the length of time of sexual intercourse regardless whether it is PE or not.

NOTE:  Premature ejaculation may occur prior to penetration or stimulation and anything less than 3 minutes is considered PE.  The average length for a man having sex to ejaculate is five and a half minutes.

So as Promescent is the only compliant FDA eutectic treatment – I said it again.  So how and why does it work?

Obviously, lidocaine is the active ingredient in the climax controlling spray BUT they have patented technologies that controls the drug – SO IT DOES NOT NUMB!!!!  Yes, I am shouting but hey I am pretty excited about that.  This patented formula they describe as:

‘an “eutectic formula”, which is a combination of materials that, together, for a new substance that has significantly new properties’

All those other delay sprays numb so sex is nowhere near as enjoyable with it on.  Can you keep a secret?? Just between you and me, half the time when using delay sprays it is not premature ejaculation it is getting it up.  My Rodger is so numb and desensitized that I cannot get aroused. (The other inactive ingredients are listed at the footer of this review.)

Reviewers and users of PROMESCENT have often reported an INCREASE in stimulation and more intense orgasms.  Bet you are now reading with added interest.

Using it is simple too as you simply use the spray 1-2 applications is generally sufficient 5-10 minutes before sexual activity to the penis and particularly the frenulum.  Once on it does not transfer to your sex partner and because it is absorbed by your skin so it stays on you lasts a lot longer.  Trust me, a lot of this sounds too good but it has been proven in clinical tests and trials.  In fact the US Medical Journal in august of 2016 published that states:

‘Promescent spray helps men last up to 64% longer in bed.’

Not a bad endorsement, hey! This could really could be used to improve almost any man’s sexual lifestyle.

Promescent’s available sizes

Promescent comes in two sized pump style plastic bottles which include:

  • The standard metered-dose bottle which contains .25 fl oz / 7.4ml. This equals to 60 identical sprays.
  • The travel trial size bottle .04 fl oz / 1.3ml. This equals to 10 identical sprays.

These bottle are a handy size that are easy to use. They also come in bundle packs so that you can save money on your purchase in the long run.

Do you need a prescription for Promescent?

Promescent does not require a prescription in the United States. The website states:

‘Promescent is a fast-acting, on-demand solution that empowers men to take control and last longer for greater sexual satisfaction.

  • Promescent does not transfer to partners;
  • Promescent does not require a prescription;
  • Promescent dosage can be adjusted for individual control based on sensitivity;
  • Promescent does not require daily dosing and can be used as needed.’

Promescent is not yet sold in Australia but you can buy it online in the US and have it shipped to you in Australia for personal use. Which is quick and easy.

So here is my review on Promescent

Having an intimate night in with my wife, and the kids early to bed we had a few cuddles and hugs and it was quite apparent that we were going to get intimate tonight.  So as bed time came and she was off to check on the kids and I was off the check the doors, lights and windows I snuck into the downstairs bathroom and applied the recommended three sprays of Promescent to the head of my penis.  I rubbed it in and after a few minutes put on my trackies and went back upstairs.

Apart from feeling damp for a few moments prior to rubbing it in there were no side effects typical of other delay sprays.  For example, Indian God Lotion causes a burning sensation, Stud 100 almost immediately numbs the head,  Dynamo on the other hand – which thankfully I have never tried brings a whole new world to side effects.  With over 454 reported reactions in 2017.

So as I went off to bed, with thankfully no side effects from the application I met with my wife for some extremely sensual action.  I am generally a 12 minute man so I do not suffer from PE but I lasted over 18 minutes and I can tell you there was some pretty intense action happening there.  During the course, or should I say intercourse of our session we applied some silicone personal lubricant which did not appear to have any impact on the spray.

I asked my wife if she noticed anything different – and apart from the contented smile – the only thing she noticed was that I lasted longer.  Now, I will not say it intensified my orgasm but the delay in ejaculation did make me enjoy the sex more.  Because I could not feel the spray, the only comment I can make is that I did not last longer, my penis did not become number so in my view it is two thumbs up on this one.

If the average increase is 64% and I am generally a 12 minute wonder the spray should have had me delay my ejaculation till around the 19.5 minute mark.  It well and truly delivered with an additional minute or so on top. Promescent is a delay spray that gives you all of the benefits.

BOSO’s Trick To Keep You Going And Going!

Sex doesn’t last as long as we think it does and when we’re considering the idea of sex – there’s very much an element of Keeping Up with the Joneses. By that I mean that when it comes to the depictions of sex in popular culture, media and entertainment, and even pornography anyone would incorrectly assume that everyone else’s sex lasts for hours and hours. Well – here’s the facts.

Firstly, I’m going to point out that there’s a difference between foreplay and sex. By all means, foreplay can last for hours, but when we mention ‘sex’ within this review, I’m specifically referring to penis in the ass or vagina.

How long should sex really last?

Now – for the facts. According to a Canadian study in 2008 the idea of ‘adequate intercourse’ was listed as lasting from anywhere between three to seven minutes. This doesn’t include the act of foreplay, oral sex and exploring each other’s bodies (where this can indeed last for hours) but 3-7 minutes of actual cock pounding penetration. The study makes specific note that this doesn’t include foreplay, female orgasms, and non-heterosexual pairings.

3-7 minutes doesn’t sound like a lot does it? Well, that’s the average. In fact, there’s a few other studies which indicates that a lot of people, in particular women, find that sex lasting longer than 13 minutes can become painful and irritating. The study and reports on this finding doesn’t indicate whether there’s a change of position, whether there’s lubricant involved, or any other secondary factors to consider.

Long story short – when it comes to sexual expectations, a lot of people don’t consider the average amount of time it takes to have sex and therefore there’s a lot of pressure on men to perform. And short of using things like Fleshlights and masturbation toys to train us to last longer – there’s not a real lot we can do. Or… is there? There are actually a wide variety of products on the market that are designed to help men last longer and there’s big money in this industry as it preys upon the vulnerable that feel inadequate that their sex isn’t lasting as long as they’d like.

Some of these products don’t work – so how can you separate the good and the bad?

Well, that’s where Boss Homme Delay Spray comes in. Firstly, I’d like to thank them for the product which they have provided in exchange for an honest and open review.

I’ve never been a fan of performance enhancing products. It’s hard to know whether they work, whether it’s a placebo and what they’re actually doing to the body – so I walked into writing this review a massive sceptic. That’s not to say as a result of this review that there’s been a miraculous change and I wouldn’t recommend anything else and this is the only product that I’m going to use forever and for always, but I will say that through this review I have learnt some things. Some great things, some not so great things, and some hilarious things.

Disclaimer: Sex was needed to fulfil this experiment.

Before we begin this review on lasting longer – I’d like to note that I’m not in a heterosexual relationship. The length and duration of my sexual experiences is therefore different to the study and I’m not going to discuss times, lengths and all that jazz in this review. What I’m simply going to do is to examine the experience of using the product, in comparison to not using the product. I had heard that there are many benefits using delay sprays.

Product Review

The first time that I used this product – I used it during some alone time. I wanted to get the understanding of how it felt, how it worked, and what it was like before I used it during sex with my partner. Having worked in a sex store before, and having used some testers, I was legitimately surprised about the lack of smell with this product. There was no chemical smell, there was virtually no odour at all. So, I might just have overused it. Indeed, after putting on some of my favourite porn and starting to stroke – I found myself struggling to keep it up because I couldn’t feel anything. I was horny, I wanted to be hard, but there was absolutely no sensation and my body simply wanted to deflate my cock. Curious, I tried a quick spray on the tongue – now it didn’t taste all that bad though I wouldn’t really recommend eating it, but within seconds my tongue had become numb. First lesson learned – it works, but don’t overuse it.

Men's delay spray
Image: BOSO Homme Men’s Spray Bottle

After that experience I was kind of eager to try it with sex – so waiting for the opportunity to arise, I let my partner know the situation, sprayed it on and waited a little while and then had a quick wash. I was ready to go. The sex was great, the pounding was great and we could definitely tell that I was lasting longer, but there came a point in between changing positions, bringing out toys and what not where we were both like – this is great, but can we get some sleep? That’s not to say that this moment of sexy time was forced, we were definitely both in the mood, we were not exhausted, and we were horny. I’m just saying even sex can go on for too long. It did take a while to come, and when I did – I noticed that the orgasm wasn’t as great as it normally was (I also noticed this when jacking off – but I was really working that one to achieve climax after over spraying). Maybe that was a little to do with the time it took, but I thought that the reduced sensation (and I used much less this time) resulted in a less than spectacular orgasm.

Spray to delay premature ejaculation

I liked this product. From the cute and discreet design on the bottle, to the way that it worked. I can definitely say that whilst I have it, I’ll use it every now and then. It definitely calls for more experimenting, and I can guarantee that for guys that are a little quick off the mark then this will do the job. There are different ways to delay ejaculation and BOSO HOMME men’s spray is definitely on of them.

Lure Pheromones With 3 Times The Charm

Pheromones working on woman

Our wonderful friends at Topco Sales sent us the Lure Range of Pheromone Perfumes to review.  Topco are one of the pioneering sex toy and sexual health aid manufacturers from the United States who established their business more than 40 years ago.

The Lure Pheromones have been a line that has also been around for ages, originally they were encased in an acrylic display box and in some bright pink and blue packaging.  The Lure range of pheromone perfumes supplied are the third generation containing stronger signals with the improved formula.  The new range is the Lure Black Label Pheromone Personal Scents and come in a For Him, For Her and a You & Me. They are available in two sizing options the 74ml bottles and the 10ml bottle.  The packaging is an attractive black box and the bottle is matte black.

Most of the pheromone perfumes are made in China but this is proudly made in the United States in Topco’s FDA approved manufacturing plant.  Most attractant sprays use the pheromone androstenone which can be found in boar’s saliva and urine, celery, truffles and cytoplasm but do not worry Topco have not added boar’s urine to their spray.  Androstenone can be synthetically produced, allowing the strength to be increased or decreased as required. Having produced Lure for more than 30 years this third generation is said to be right on the money as to the concentration required for maximum effects.

Lure For Him

The ingredients in this formula are Denatured Alcohol that quickens the drying process once the perfume is applied, Purified Water, Glycerin and Fragrance.  The fragrance is of a citrus base with a hint of lavender. The full perfume description is refreshing Grapefruit and Lavender notes are infused with Cassis, White Flowers, Tea and Rose; and underscored by Cedar wood and Vanilla.

I took the perfume bottle out and sprayed some in the air and my nose picked up a distinct scent of citrus and rose.  It was a pleasant smell and the people in my office commented on it too.  I was on duty to pick up the kids from school so thought what better way to check this out than to spray myself with 6 or 7 sprays and then go out to the school grounds where all the mothers were to see if I would get any reaction.

I sincerely hoped that I would not be hunted by MILFs or end up in a Benny Hill style chase scene but the things one will do for their job.

Next day:  Well, I made it safely in and out of the school.  If any of the mothers there noticed that I was wearing the His pheromone perfume they made no indication, but to be fair it was windy.  Later in the evening I met up with my wife and she was her usual self – made no comment about the scent but she was in a pleasant and conversive mood.

My belief on most of these pheromones is that it is a placebo effect that the wearer has.  If the wearer believes it is going to work then psychologically he is going to be more confident around the opposite sex and confidence in most case breeds success.  The smell is pleasant and would give one confidence whilst wearing it. I went in with my mind open and leave with it still open but with no vindication that this pheromone in the product does what it is supposed to.

My verdict on the Lure For Him perfume is 7.5 out of 10.

Lure For You & Me

Pheromone perfume for all genders

So here I am back at my office surrounded by both males and females.  Discreetly taking the You & Me from its black box I take it to the rest room where I have liberally applied 5-6 sprays.  The scent of lure for me as opposed to the Lure For Him I find absolutely fantastic.  My nose palate tells me it has citrus with a hint of sandalwood and is extremely bright and refreshing.  Topco says Citrus Bergamot dominates the top notes and evolves into Aquatic heart of Rain Accord, Ivy, Cardamom and Ginger; followed by a dry down of Tea Leaves and Sandalwood.

I cannot overstate that the scent is amazing and I am attracted to it.  Now let’s wait and see the results it has with the guys and gals that work here.  Be back with you in about 4 hours…

Well, again the Benny Hill chase song was not required however everyone commented on the perfume I was wearing.  Since my 4 hours window of being pursued by lust crazed men and women had elapsed I did a spray test on some of the people that work with me and here are the comments:

“That smells really nice.  It’s got a clean citrus smell.  I really like it.” – Stephen

“What is that?  It smells great.” – Sean

“Mmmm, smells great.” – Eon

“Wow, That is really nice.  What is it? (Lure for you and me: my reply).  I really like that.  The lure for men in the shop is too strong but that is a perfect perfume.  I really like the new bottle as well.” – Amy

“That is really nice.  It is much nicer than the other one. (Other one Lure for Men).” – Elaine

“I gotta get some of that for Ricky.  What is it?” – Anna

So the lure for you and I was an outstanding success as in fragrance and I certainly can imagine a man wearing it gaining confidence just by the way he smells. AND… who knows.  The pheromones and fragrance just may work.

My verdict on the Lure for You and I is a 10 out of 10.

Lure For Her

I took the Lure For Her perfume bottle out and sprayed some in the air and my nose picked up a distinct scent of musk mixed in with what I would described as a sweet talcum powder smell.  The scent was very strong and it reminded me of perfumes my mother used to wear as a child.  Being a male I should have found the scent at least a little attractive but found it sickly sweet and certainly not something I would willingly hang around.

I got a similar reaction with whomever I sprayed it on or around.  One of the guys here said it smelt like Avon Vanilla Musk, which is the perfume his elderly mother wears.

My verdict of the Lure for Her is 2 out of 10.  I really think Topco missed the mark on this one and the scent from my perspective would turn off guys rather than attract them.

Topco Says That Their Pheromone Products:

Pheromones send out silent, subconscious scent signals to the opposite sex that naturally trigger romantic feelings. The scientifically designed pheromone based fragrance provides you with one of the most precious and powerful forces of nature ‘Lure” is working for you.  Not a mere perfume, but a sexual signalling aroma based on the chemistry of the attractant alpha androstenol.”
