Hey Babe, Anal Tonight?

Anal is a really scary thought to some people. Hearing, “Hey Babe, Anal Tonight?” might send you running in the other direction. It’s seen as unnatural, dangerous, painful or weird to some, and that’s totally fine! But here’s my anal sex guide, don’t knock it till you try it!

Once you’ve accomplished anal once or twice you’ll find yourself totally surrendered to it’s amazing feeling.  Here are some tips and tricks to getting comfortable with this new move in your sex arsenal.

Lube, Lube, Lube!!

A lot of people forget that our butts aren’t naturally lubing like vaginas.  So you can’t expect to slip on in right off the bat!

You should take some time to research and buy some different anal lubes. They tend to be thicker and longer lasting then regular water based lube which is a huge plus in the comfort list. Take it slow, really lube the area up well and then begin.

Don’t expect to be hardcore thrusting away (if at all).  You need to give your partner plenty of time to get used to your size and adjust. If either of you feel like it isn’t gliding smoothly then add more lube. You can never use too much lube!

Warm That Sucker Up!

Make sure to take some time to get your partner relaxed and in the mood, it will make it much harder if one of you is still a bit tense!

Start with a nice massage, some kissing and caressing and go from there. Try using some toys such as anal beads or plugs to get the area open and prepared for more.  If your partner is more comfortable using fingers then go ahead with that, start at one and do your best to get comfortable with 3.

If you feel like it’s not working,  take a deep breath, reevaluate, communicate and try again. Your partner will tell you when they’re ready.

Miss Independent

Sometimes it might ease your mind if you were to pre plan an anal date and spend some time alone at home getting yourself ready.

If you’re an experienced analler you will already know about all these things, but to someone new this will be very helpful.  Picture yourself at home with a nice glass of red, some background music, some luke warm water and a douche.  Weird scene right?

But it has a Purpose

If you want total peace of mind in terms of cleanliness when doing anal then you’ll want to flush out your bowels an hour or two before hand. Usually you can get away with having done a number 2 not long before anal, but it’s all about knowing your body and what you’re comfortable with.

Next, would be to grab your anal lube and plug set and have a go at warming up that area yourself. It will help to start with the medium plug, and then the
largest plug. Once the largest plug is in leave it till your partner gets home so you’re still feeling comfortable and ready to go straight away.

anal tonight with Pjur
Pjur Backdoor Anal Lubricants Sexual Health

Pjur Analyze Me Vs Backdoor Lube

Pjur has two anal relaxant lubricants in their range.

  • First being Pjur Analyse Me.
  • Second being the Pjur Backdoor Relaxing Anal Silicone Glide.

Firstly, I want to get something else out of the way that I’m sure has been bugging all of you. Pjur, is pronounced ‘pure’.  I have received this information from the company itself, so have no fear anymore!

Silicone lubricants come in a different viscosity or thicknesses. You can noticeably feel the difference when you compare something like SuperSlyde, Pjur original and Pjur Gel.  SuperSlyde is very thin and slick or ‘greasy’ for lack of a better term whereas the the Pjur has a little bit more substance and ‘cushioning’ to it.

It’s Personal Preference

My partner and I prefer the thicker lubricant, as it has a little bit more comfort to it and handles itself a little better.

But I know a lot of people that prefer the thinner silicone lubricants especially for vaginal use as they say that the viscosity of the SuperSlyde doesn’t disrupt the natural lubrication of the vagina.  And t’s similar to a ‘dry’ lubrication.

But enough of that.  From some thorough research through medical papers, holistic papers and searching through other stuff to find some answers. I can not only tell you the difference between the two but also why they’ve included Jojoba oil in it.

Difference between Analyse me! and Back Door

Is that the Back Door has higher concentrations of ingredients in it and is useful for dealing with rougher sex, and large cocks and sex toys.

Analyse me is a lighter version and is considered for ‘general’ use.  The way I usually remember is that the Back Door is in a darker bottle and the Analyse Me! is in a lighter bottle, dark for ‘hardcore’ light for ‘lighter use’.

Both Pjur lubricants are great for anal sex and serve their purpose well.

What is Jojoba and why is it included?

Jojoba is a wild shrub native to Mexico, California and Souther Arizona. It’s oil has a nutty smell and it’s use is diverse in the cosmetic and beauty fields. It is also immune to oxidation and can survive over 20 years without breaking down or having its components altered.

Now, pure Jojoba oil is bad for condoms and for sex, what lubricant companies have done is create a chemical process to break down the jojoba oil reduce some of the properties to it thereby making it safe to use with condoms.

Many people have since realised that Jojoba is excellent for ‘painful’ sex due to its anti-inflammatory and ‘healing’ properties. I found it interesting to note that using Jojoba in lubricant helped calm and soothe the muscles with regular use. Jojoba naturally contains vitamin E which helps with the elasticity, smoothness and softness of the skin.

There are some articles which suggest that Jojoba doesn’t do anything much and is simply another one of those ‘Kale’ like fads.

You can be the judge on this one

At the very least this can be considered a natural numbing lubrication that doesn’t use any chemical based numbing agents.

On a side note, I generally do not recommend numbing sprays or lubricants without first cautioning the customer.  Especially if the numbing gel contains a benzocaine or lidocaine chemical base.  As they use this stuff in the dentists to help soothe the mouth.

Dependent on the customer and their comfort levels, I will inquire as to their sexual practices.  And recommend other things to use with a numbing gel or spray.  By taking away the body’s natural defense mechanism of pain they can unwittingly do some damage to their genitals which can affect their sex life.

By gently probing or asking questions

It is generally easier to find out what’s going on and recommend suitable solutions. For example, someone with a thick dick. To start off with you can warm up with a smaller toy.

For someone who is impatient. Explain how they can control the speed of the sexual play and that some bodies take longer to warm up and arrive at the party than others. Some people also don’t like anal but are pressured by their boyfriend to do it. Look at ways to calm them down so they have more control over their body.

Generally for anal play with the numbing lubricants I’ll try and sell some butt plugs, anal toys or something along those lines to facilitate the warming up of the muscles and make it easier.

They don’t teach this stuff in schools and a lot of straight boys simply don’t realise that the ass is not like the vagina.
