There are two things that I really like about the Moody vibrator; its name and its fun design as its quite original and fun looking. The shape and colours (candy violet, candy orange and anthracite) offered by Fun Factory for this sex toy are far from being boring! It looks like an Italian ice cream where the insertable part is the tasteful ice cream and the white interface is the cone.
Oh, and this name: Moody. I love it! After all, let’s not lie, the Moody represents what most of the women are but at the same time this term becomes more than a feeling thanks to Fun Factory, it will from now on remind me of this fun pleasurable toy!
The Moody is packed in the typical Fun Factory box with the picture of the toy at the front. Information about the toys can be found on the package and inside with its user manual.
After choosing it in the candy violet colour that looks so good, I can finally open the box to try this fun looking toy. Let’s start the review with what I can see: The size of the Moody is bigger than what is shown on the package. It’s a great thing for me because I was afraid it would be the only reason I’d dislike it. The dimensions are 18cm for the length of the whole toy, 4.2cm for the diameter and the weight is 210g. There are 3 buttons, “- “, “+” and the red fun button.
The real colour is a bit darker than the one shown on the package but it’s honestly not something that I noticed straight away. On the other hand, what I can see is the curved end, the flexible structure that allows the motor to bend to the slightest of your desires, whether to stimulate your clitoris, target the G-spot or the prostate for powerful orgasms.
I already counted three options to pleasure yourself with the curved motor but I haven’t talked about the second motor, its 360-degree clitoral stimulator. Yes, the Moody is an unusual rabbit type vibrator as most of them only got one clitoral stimulator, when the Moody offers two! Well to be honest, the rounded stimulator wasn’t needed, as only the top one is going to stimulate the clitoris. It was obviously made this way for the design and not for our pleasure even though the other part is not annoying at all. Moody is made of a really soft body safe silicone that is free of toxic phthalates and is waterproof! To top that off, the silicone is handpoured in Germany so they are able to maintain incredibly high body safe standards.
To maximise our pleasure, ridges cover the whole toy. Like I said previously, the long part has the same curves like an Italian ice cream and the clitoral motors are the crispy cone. I really don’t see where else this inspiration could have been taken from!
The Moody offers 12 vibrations modes (6 intensities and 6 rhythms) to go through the different levels and stimulation according to your moods. To turn on just hold the fun button then start with the “+” button to go through the various modes, the “-“button is more of a ‘return’ button.
I must say that the manual didn’t really help me to understand the buttons functions and can be confusing for someone who always had written instructions.
The vibrations are all different (unlike some toys that have too similar vibrations) and honestly great. The intensity can be powerful if wanted even though it’s not the most powerful toy I’ve tried.
Before you use your Moody for the first time, you should clean it then charge it for up to 8 hours maximum. To clean, use mild soap and warm water or a toy cleaner to make sure your toy is well cleaned, especially if you use it vaginally and for the back door. When charging with the magnetic end, the charging lights will indicate you how much the toy is charged (a blinking “- “indicates it’s charging and it will turn into a constant light when charged at 33% then a blinking “+” until it turns into a constant light when charged at 66% and same with the red fun button, that will reach 100% when fully charged. Once everything is done, you should use this toy with a good quantity of lubricant to enjoy.
From my little experience, I can say that the Moody is a fun and original vibrator that could satisfy most of the woman thanks its shape and size. The toy offers us three possibilities to please ourselves (vaginal, clitoral, and prostate simulators). The quality delivered meets my expectation even though a stronger intensity would have been more than appreciated!
